Serpentine belt was replaced the other day. Was raining all day and started to squeak. I took a look and noticed that it was about 50% narrower than it should be. Had them replace the water pump belt as well.
About a week ago during the oil service I had them do the fluid change on the rear...
Once you get some miles on them and a feel for these tires let me know what you think. I may get the same Conti's I have again. Never had Pirelli's before.
Interesting. I just saw these tires on a car earlier today. Wonder if they are as good or better than the CC2s many are buying lately. Or those competing with the CC2s.
I'm at 5/32 yet. Want to hit at least 4/32 so I can get my warranty credit. Been using DT for years. Thinking about sticking with the Continental CrossContact LX25s. What I have now. Been a great tire and have tested them out in a couple of good situations in the mountains. What are you...
Been using Costco 85 octane for years and been happy. Get good mpg on my 16.5' GT. Usually it's at least 15 cents cheaper but often even more than that compared to others. Currently it's at least 60 cents less per gallon or more than other local gas stations. I'm in CO.
I have a 16.5 GT and had no issues since I bought it new in 10/31/16. Just over 88k. I heard a lot of good things about this 16.5 1/2 year. I've had no issues with brakes. I did recently have by back discs and pads replaced. Thought it was odd that the backs went first but apparently it's how...
Maybe I'll stick with the Continental Cross Contact LX25s. I like the look of the Michelin CC2s but it's not sound like they are worth it.
I've been using Discount Tire since the 80s. Costco is getting more competitive but not sure it's worth making the move.

I've had the outside cleaned off but there's an obvious residue that remains on the inside. Apparently this must be a side effect of the touchless car wash. I'm wondering if there's a way to clean off the haze from the inside.
Is there a tube or something that allows the...
The Conti's I currently have worked fine. Been in CO for some time now but come from northern MN driving. I thought the Altimax RT43s were good but not as good as the Conti's I currently have (Continental Cross Contact LX25s). Just checking to see what's out there at this point as a better...
True. If it does it's maybe one to two weeks at a time (re-occurring throughout winter) at most and especially on the side streets. I see the CC2s here a lot!
I have Continental Cross Contact LX25s. Before long I'm going to have to replace them. Been happy with them. Is this still the way to go? I always like to check in and see if there's a better option. I'm seeing the Michelin Cross-Climate 2 on cars a lot. But I think the treadware isn't as good...
Familiar with that process. However, using the Mazda Toolbox typically has the cost similar to the dealer. There is a transaction to pay for it via this method.
