What your calling the downpipe is actually a midpipe and the s-pipe is the downpipe. I noticed a quicker spool time with the installation of Apex motorsports MIDPIPE, and I love there complete cat-back exhaust system.
I got to wondering why my sub wasn't working and decided to check voltage. As it turns out I am not gettin any voltage from the Battery. Does anyone know of any splices or fuses or where it is supposed to tie into to get the 12v dc? Cuz I can't find it. My luck is that it's just faulty...
I have a quick question on our bpv hoses or bpv hoses in general. I was wandering if the length of the bpv's hose on the incoming side from the intercooler makes a difference in the bpvs performance? I'm trying to rig a way to make the turbo xs type h34 work with the Injen rd cai. and I...
Yes I noticed a pretty large difference between the apex midpipe and the stock one. I did install the cat-less midpipe. And the stock one has two, so The exhaust flow greatly improved. The turbo spooled much faster as well. But when I installed just the downpipe I also installed the Injen...
I believe that I have seen one or two more companies that makes one. When I get some time today I'll try to do some research. Cuz I also need one. Sorry about calling the midpipe a downpipe. I know better. I'm just used to calling the midpipe a downpipe.
Yes there is actually three more wires. 1 for the ebrake, 1 for the o2 sensor , and 1 for the a/f ratio. But I didn't hook up the o2 sensor wire and the a/f ratio wires at the ecu because i'v been hearing that it's frying peoples o2 sensor. And I sure don't want to have to buy a new one. And...
I jsut installed an Apexi auto timer and it comes on when you turn the ignition on. But heres the thing you can set it for say the normal 30 seconds and activate it. But when I turn the ignition off the motor shuts off as well instead of it running for the 30 more seconds. But the turbo timer...
Well I'm Guessing that theres between 8 inches to a foot clearance from the lowest part of the pipe at the rear wheel to the ground. I almost ruined my day first thing this morning. I wasn't paying attention to how much lower the muffler hangs and when I was backing it into a parking space I...
I just got the cat back because I had gotten the Cat-less downpipe back in November. As far as going from the cat-less downpipe with stock exhaust to the full exhaust I believe it spools a little faster. I haven't notice any real gain in power because I have only driven it about 5 or ten miles...
I too noticed a big difference but it still hesitates a little. I even have joe p FPR and it still hesitates. I wish someone would come up with a cheap but very reliable fix.
I just installed apex motorsports 2.5" axhaust with an Apex'i N1 muffler. And I just thought I'd say it KICKS ASS compared to the stock p.o.s. Of course thats a given.
I put mine on two weeks ago and I was wondering as bad as it shakes in idle would it or could shake the front end loose? Cuz I was going to put the rear on also.
Okay I ran another search and came up with nothing. I know that I can find what wires to use in the car but what I really need to know is what the RED,GREEN,AND BLUE wires coming from the tt are. That is what I can't find.
I just got my Turbo XS type H34 in and I was wondering what size our supply line is going into the stock bpv? Cuz I'm pretty sure it's not 34mm. Well if anyone knows I'd appreciate it.
I need to know what the Green, Red, and Blue wires from the turbo timer are each for? I also need to know where on the ECU is the correct wire to splice for my O2 sensor signal wire and which one is the proper ground wire to hook into? I ran a search and have spent the last hour or more...
I ran a search but couldn't come up with anything. Could someone please help me out. I would like to find some sturdier exhaust hangers to keep it from vibrating so much. At times it rattles against my heat deflector and it is annoying as hell.
I think our car could be alot faster than that as soon as people start lowering the compression and when companies start making piggybacks compatable with it. And hell yeh it's an all around fun car to drive. But I don't mind reaching into my pockets to make it even more fun and even more...
