Not sure if it’s available in the US but here in Cda I always get a 2-yr new vehicle protection (assuming that vehicle totalled is still within 2yrs) as it covers for the total cost and not fair market value of the vehicle in case it’s totalled regardless of mileage. Of course, it only applies...

I agree and manufacturers do that all the time (delete/add features). Just like the new 10.25” infotainment screen with Mazda Connect 2.0 which is new for 2021 in the US but sadly still not available here in Canada. We seem to be always behind in getting newer tech compared to other markets...

Looks like they deleted that feature for 2021 MY Signature in the USA but still available in Canada...check out the differences based on their brochures/spec sheet: first one is the US version and next is the Cda version

I wouldn’t be concerned as my CX-9 hovers around the 90deg Celsius while my prev Mazda 6 and current Mazda 3 (both with Skyactiv 2.5L NA engines) hover around the 100deg Celsius temp.

Sounds like a similar issue if not the same but in my case I just got the vehicle from dealership less than 2 wks ago when the issue popped up (likely dealer didn’t notice it during delivery as it was already there). Therefore, they have to cover it in case Mazda doesn’t cover it under warranty...

Is this after they’ve replaced your screen with a new one? I assume the new screen is also coated with anti glare - right? I honestly don’t use any cleaner for wiping off the screen even on my previous Mazda 6 and my current CX-9 as even if these have touchscreens I hate having finger prints...

Same here, no issues...In fact I’ve even tried it from 50-80m away and it still works!

congrats on the new ride! Looks really nice...you’ll enjoy it as I have mine (4years now). you might be referring to the coating applied to the engines and that pungent smell will dissipate over time (after driving it for few thousand KMs). All new vehicles are like that..l yes engine bay...

There is a 400lb GVW diff bet the two...4000lbs (3) and 4400lbs (6). 3 definitely faster than 6 but not by much!
