Brake squeal is usually caused by the pads being glazed. This could be caused be riding your brakes or sticky calipers. Taking the pads out roughing them up and putting a 45 edge all around will get rid of the squeal.

Not vents but speaker grills for the 10 speaker Bose system. Do you have a part number and manufacturer of the stock speakers from the doors now that you have them out? I'm asking to see if I can get the spec's from them.

No problem here. Works great day or night and the settings I have on it, stay as I have them set.

I have a 2018 and this has happened once in sunny southern California with a clean windshield to mine. So I'd say 2018's are not exempt from this problem.

I use USB sticks and yes some of the album art is a picture of the band instead of the album cover. I'm assuming this is what you're talking about. Why it does this I have no idea. My thinking is that for whatever reason Gracenote is not recognizing the tag for the album but it knows the Artist...

Touchscreen...what's a touchscreen LOL. Yeah, the knobs and steering wheel controls are all I use.

I can mute mine when using USB. Then when I start it up again it's still on mute. I use the control noob to mute it but I do agree that there should be a way to just turn it off and on if needed.

My 18 did it once. It was a sunny day, windshield was clean. I didn't notice all the other stuff like you did but when I stopped the car and got back in a few minutes later it was back to normal. Hasn't done it since.
