The thing about the light in the center console could be about the USB's. At first it's hard to see and plug in the USB stick. After you get used to it it's ok but I've seen other SUV's with lights around the USB receptacles, making it easier to plug in.

What did that cost and where did you have it done?

The concept would be adding a gas cap cover, shark fin and I really don't think the side mirrors would be DOT approved. So it would look a little different with added things that would be needed on the road.

I have the 2018 and love it, It's my first Mazda. You can't beat the up graded interior for the price and how quiet it is. The sound system is excellent. For a 2.5 without turbo it has plenty of power. I have the GT with the premium package and I don't think I could live without HUD. IMO there...

If you take the pads out and put a 45 all around it will go away for the life of the pads.

Maybe that's the problem, CX-5 OEM is a class 1 not a class 2. I think the CX-9 has an OEM class 2.

When I got my CX-5 the only one they had in stock with the color I wanted had HUD. I wasn't interested in HUD but they gave me a deal so I took it. Now I wouldn't want a car,truck,suv without HUD!
