I was going to order a Curt but once I looked into what Uhaul charged to mount one I just drove over and bought it there and had them mount it. I could have done it but for what it cost to have them mount it it was worth not dicking around for a DIY afternoon. I was in and out in less than an...
I think that's what I have too. Bought back in '20 for my '20. That's why I haven't bought a new one, I have a feeling all these cards are bootlegs with that same map rev and no way to upgrade them now that Mazda has canceled updates on the bootleg cards.
Yep, it's far from perfect to be sure, and can be detrimental in some circumstances. But that being said, with all the idiots playing with their phones these days I'd prefer most people had it rather than not just to protect me from them.
Pure speculation on my part, but once AA is connected it might disable the #2 USB port as a music source and assume AA will be the player. If AA isn't playing an audio source on the phone it'll go to FM as a default.
I use an AA Wireless adapter in my '20 and if I walk away from the car with...
I totally agree, but it's hard to leave enough space in front of you while at a light in the city. You really just have to hope the guy behind you has a braking system too.
I had a guy slam the hooks on me about 10 years ago to make a sudden right turn into a parking lot just past the...
Pretty much the scenario that others have had. I was stopped in the right lane but going straight through. When the light changed to green the driver in front of me started his turn but then randomly stopped like half way through then started slowly moving again. I went around him and WHAM the...
This is true, but not in the way you're framing it. The first SUV's were neither fast nor handled very well. The Sport terminology really applied to Off-Road full time 4WD vehicles that could also be used in a very utilitarian way. Arguably the first SUV was the Jeep Cherokee though you could...
I do know the "U" stands for Utility. They're all compromises.
Don't get me wrong, I'm on my third CX-5's and I've liked them all. As daily drivers they're great vehicles and do offer a better driving experience than most SUV's in their price range. But no one will ever mistake one for a true...
I've always felt "sporty" SUV's were a contradiction anyway. I know you can get really crazy fast ones that handle better than sports cars from 10 years ago but it's still a top heavy station wagon no matter what you call it. So I still have a motorcycle for when I want that "connected to the...
I always turn mine off at the first snow of the year and bring them back on line in April. If I'm parking on a tight street I pull them in manually during the winter.
Have you tried going in and resetting the system back to factory defaults? Not the same but when I had a MA1 wireless adapter it would drop off and the only thing that would bring it back was a total reset.
When you find a replacement it's not a bad idea to put one of those silicon covers on the fob, they protect them from drops and minimize accidental pushes on the buttons. You can get them on Amazon pretty inexpensively and if you get two different colors it makes it easy to tell which is which.
