Sorry, but you cannot base US-model changes on 2017 Canadian model changes. I'm from Toronto, but live in the US, and I also look at Canadian model differences against US models. Heck, Canada even has different model designations compared to US. Until Mazda USA releases official word on the 2017...
Yes, understood. This means a non-improvement in the US for 2016 to 2017. However, I will wait on official word from Mazda regarding the 2017 model for the US. Heated steering wheel seems like an obvious addition for 2017 in the US since other markets have this feature. Should there be no...
The US already had Sonic Silver for Signature trim, so that wouldn't really be a change. If Mazda added more driver's seat adjustments and maybe Apple Carplay and/or Android Auto, then the 2017 would be worth waiting for. At least for me, it would be.
I see.
My take was that the author was trying to write it for a global audience and used RON metric. But since the writer is likely not really all that familiar with the ROM to AKI conversion being that he's located in the US, the mistake was made. Thanks for clarifying that.
Could it be entirely possible that WardsAuto has readers in countries outside of the U.S.? After all, the article is about 2017 10 Best Engines in the world.
From Seven Turbos, Three Hybrids Share Wards 10 Best Engines Honors, The Class of 2017 in alphabetical order:

Much like Car and Driver, Alex Dykes of Alex on Autos also declared the Mazda CX-9 as the 'Best large 3-row' CUV in his latest review video. He also goes through the pros and cons of competitor 3rd row CUVs against the CX-9. It's a pretty good review, IMO.

Audi just announced that they are adding a Q7 with the 2.0T engine:
Specs-wise, it seems like the CX-9 has quite an edge in torque, i.e. 273 vs 310 lb-ft. And I believe that the Audi is quite a bit heavier than the CX-9. The 2.0T is quite a motor but might be quite taxed with quite a heavy...
Sales people always want customers to buy now, so they would likely provide information to make the customer buy sooner rather than later. I would wait for Mazda's official statement, if there is no hurry to purchase a vehicle.
This. After 6 years of ownership, our 2010 CX-9 still runs perfectly. It just goes. There's nary a rattle nor a squeak. At least in my experience, Mazda build quality is exemplary and the driving dynamics is icing on the cake.
Speaking of Honda, the assembly of the Acura MDX is being moved to...
I do feel the same way. It's just that double taxation really rubs me the wrong way. I did have issues on this CX-9. The transmission was replaced at 55K under warranty. It's been running perfect since. Other than that, there hasn't been anything else.
Paying taxes on a new car is expected. However, paying taxes on a vehicle that one already owns kinda rubs me the wrong way. It's double taxation.
Yes. That's why the reluctance. My only other choice is the 2017 MDX but that's quite a bit more money and I'm not sure if the MDX is worth the...
I moved twice now. It was the same experience in the Florida too.
It's not about being ready for payments, I can easily afford a new car. It's just that I feel that it would be a waste replacing one that is working perfectly fine, especially after all the new brakes, tires, and tow hitch...
