If you can afford getting a set of new XXR's then you can afford to get a set of used quality wheels. It just takes time and a little luck to find exactly what you want in the price range you're looking at.
I like how your phone reminds you that none of your friends are going with you, trying to enforce the lonely drive LOL. Good luck, better win something.
I've been looking at wheels for almost a year and I've found BBS LM's that are 17x9.5 for $1800 shipped. It's just taking the time to look for them. Just the other day I missed out on a local set of Work CR Kai 17x9 +38 for $800. I was pretty pissed about missing that one.
I'm pretty positive ffocused means that you can find a set of used "real" wheels for the same price as a set of fake wheels.
P.S.- I only put real in quotation marks because even if they are knock offs and of low quality they are technically wheels. I still fully support the quality...
As long as he gets them PC after he sees if he likes them or not. That's what you told us so I expect nothing less...but i guess we've been waiting for that front bumper to be painted for a while too :p
That's my exact problem, the way I routed my IC piping took away the possibilty of using either one of my tow hooks. Oh well, better not get stuck anywhere and if I do I better be in damn good shape LOL.
I'm honored! LOL, but if you have intention on doing a full build and upping the boost then definitely go for a 3" I just have seen people that get more than they'll ever utilize which in turn is a waste of money. Good luck on getting what you want.
All you need now is to replace that ugly PS can that's ruining the look of your gorgeous bay....and I'm not going to mention anything about the windshield washer res. LOL
I'm not saying to spend $800 on a custom set-up to get something under 2.5, if you're spending that kind of money get exactly what you want. What I was trying to get at is that he doesn't need an entire set-up to get the result he's after. Why spend a lot of money for a custom exhaust set-up...
That shop doesn't know what it's talking about. Essentially a turbo is forcing more air into your engine that would normally not be there which also means it's forcing more air out. If you stepped down in diameter it would be like me telling you that you need to breath twice as much air as your...
I would be less worried about cracks and more worried about scouring on the cylinder walls if a screw was sucked in. Which would also lead me to believe that with the oil consumption that's a possibility since it would allow blow by on the piston rings if the scouring is bad enough. Worst case...
Is there a way you can get some money back from them? Have your current shop note all the problems and try to take legal action. If that motor would've been started you would've been s*** out of luck with all those f ups
Just to give you a heads up the Brian you're talking about on FB is Signature Sound (powder coating guy) not the owner of MP5T. So you may have gotten confused in who you're talking to.
