    A/c delete question

I could not get to mine with just the glove box removed. Apparently I was doing something wrong, but I didn't mind because I was removing the heater core as well and needed the dash out anyway.

    A/c delete question

Yes it can be removed fairly easily. The biggest pain in the ass would be getting the dash out, because as stated the whole dash needs to be removed for it too happen. After that just get some plugs for the holes on the firewall or weld them shut. If you never have any intention on running AC...

You're lucky I didn't get time to send it over to the machine shop yet. Should be gone by the end of the week so I just walked out and snapped some pics. Hope it helps.

can you sleeve a turbo protege cylinder walls

You can, I know Miguel (Mazdaspeed2oo35) has done it. And there are several other high HP/TQ builds that have done it as well. Why do you think you need to sleeve the block? These blocks can handle a large amount of power if you build it properly, unless you're also toying with the idea of...

    JDM_Pro5's Build Thread

I know you've been talking about it for a while, I'm glad you're able to make it a reality. Did you get most of this from Alex, or just piecing it together little by little (sorry if you already answered it)

Stupid Things You've Done Modifying/Maintaining Your Ride

I wish CTt3P5 was able to get some pictures of the damage to the engine because it doesn't make sense to me. Unless it was valve to valve contact that caused the valves to bend which could theoretically cause the piston damage.

    labour for changing clutch?

Install, that's a pretty accurate quote if it was just for labor. It shouldn't take more than that but honestly if you have an open day sometime I would suggest just doing it yourself. The hardest part about the whole thing was getting the axels out of the trans after that it was just some bolts...

What is the funniest thing you heard/ seen today?

One of the guys that work for me was weed whacking the parking lot and managed to shoot a rock at one of our government vehicles...50ft away and shatter the passenger side window. I had no idea what to say so I just told them to clean it up and walked away. Funny when I think back on it.

    labour for changing clutch?

For someone that has done it before (and if you're taking it to a shop, I really hope so) I couldn't imagine it taking more than 5-6 hours to replace the clutch. I couldn't tell you about the flywheel but I wouldn't think it would be very costly, probably $100-150. Any higher and you might as...

    Any photographers in here?

So I'm looking at getting a Compact system camera instead of a traditional DSLR, any opinions on this? I'm no photographer, at least not like a majority of you guys but definitely want to learn. Was looking at the new Sony Alpha NEX-3N with 16-50mm Lens, what would you recommend for an amateur...
