I'm very interested, as it's gonna be cheaper than the CX-5 and closer to the CX-3 (that we currently have) in size and price (hopefully only slightly more expensive).
I would love the Skyactiv-X but the normal Skyactiv-G is fine. I'm gonna try both though, when they are released.
That's the problem, because SBS also gives you warnings.
I know I have SCBS (up to 30 kmh) but that's because my CX-3 is from 2015.
I'm not sure when they upgraded to Advanced SCBS. I think here in Europe, they did it around 2017-18.
The non-advanced SCBS uses a laser and the Advanced SCBS uses the front camera. Using the front camera also increases the speed at which it works (up from 30 kmh to 80 kmh and it can now detect pedestrians).
SBS uses the radar hidden behind the front Mazda logo (which is also used by the Mazda...
Here's the press information from Geneva:
https://insidemazda.mazdausa.com/press-release/2019-geneva-auto-show-press-information-mazda-cx-30/
As was also mentioned during the presentation, the CX-30 is targeted for the European market first, so specs will reflect that incl. engine choice, which...
Each country calls the different levels differnt things, so we don't have Signature model of the CX-5.
But here in Denmark we can buy a luxury pack (which incl. nappa-leather and wooden trim) for the top spec Optimum.
Advanced SCBS isn't tied to the radar used for MRCC. For example we have the Advanced SCBS on the two top specs Cx-3 in Denmark but only the top spec has MRCC.
And he's correct that there is a front SCBS and read SCBS. The front Advacned SCBS works up to 80 kmh and detects pedestrians and...
Look at what models will be displayed:
the new 3 in hatchback verision, the 6 in sedan and wagon, the CX-5, the 2 and the MX-5 RF.
But where is the CX-3?
The "old" SCBS used an infrared detector and works up to 30 kmh, the New Advanced SCBS uses the forwardfacing camera and works up to 80 kmh and also detects pedestriants and cyclists.

They do have it.
We get the Mazda 6 2.2 Diesel (184hp and 445 nm/328 lb-ft of torque) with a manual transmission, so they could do it, though I wouldn't count on it.
Here's an article from Sep. 2017 regarding the switch to torsion beam on the next 3:

Correct, we have both the 1.5 (with 131hp at 7000 rpm) and the 2.0 (with 160hp) in the MX-5 and the MX-5 RF.
We also have the 2.0 120hp version in the CX-3 and the 3, and it's plenty quick in those cars.
