I'm most interested in the CX-70.
Ideally it would be a 2nd Gen CX-5 with a plug in hybrid, higher towing capacity. Not lower seat position, and not much bigger.
I'm hoping it isn't just a 5-seater CX-90. I don't need big and heavy, don't want lower to the ground or better off road...
I had trouble with intermittent connection, and then eventually sometimes it wouldn't connect.
Turned out to be the USB C port on my phone getting flaky. It still charged.
Hawke's linked TSB seems to indicate that Mazda recognizes that their pad material wasn't capable of removing hardened oxidation in some environments. Seemed to be precisely the kind of symptoms that OP is experiencing. Easy fix, new rotors, new pads and hardware, lube pins.
I use All Season tires from about April until December, and winter tires from Dec - April.
I rotate them them when I change over.
If I were doing a full rotation, I would jack the front and put jack stands at the pinch welds, then jack the rear and do likewise.
For changeover I lay the wheels...
I don't have any particular information, but am sympathetic to your situation.
I went out of my way to avoid the ugly, aerodynamic compromising, silver roof rails, and certainly wasn't going to pay for them.
One of the rear hook covers on my Soul Red Crystal CX-5 fell out. I found a place that paints to match, something like $80 for the little square. The match was poor, I sent it back and they did it again. Even worse.
Eventually found cheap ones from China posted for under $20. Ordered one...
Oh, yeah, my 2018 had that pre-installed too, plus blinky brake lights and stuff like that. It wasn't in the email negotiated deal and I refused to pay for it.
This was 4 years ago before it was like doing you a favor to sell you a car.
They are poorly applied, and have bubbles.
That last part is insane. Wow!
BTW, what does Parking Lot Protection Package actually entail. A quick Google search was not enlightening. Door bumpers?
Thanks for the update. I'm still a little sad I didn't get a diesel, but am also very happy that I do have a 2nd gen CX-5.
What do you estimate your overall fuel economy has been for that 55K miles. I assume you are averaging something in the 30s.
That's way too slow, doesn't always work, and often the point of wanting to pause is because I need to not have noise. Having to speak defeats that purpose.
The other maddening thing is that the audible playback begins while the infotainment system is still booting and unresponsive with its...
The parking spots are generous in length and adequate in width. I didn't pull further forward into my spot because I wanted to make sure that I wouldn't hit the pillar with my door when I opened it.
That's exactly not the case, as I tried to describe. The lines for his spot extended several feet behind his rear bumper. This is in a parking garage and the driving lanes have plenty of room.
Apologies if this is too much of a tangent.
No harm no foul? Or, what the #@&! was he thinking?
Mazda parked first, and the trucks bumper wasn't close to the back of its space.
