Does anyone know if a 2012+ mazda5 stock exhaust will fit on a 2008 mazda5? I may have to replace the system on our 2008 but would rather swap it out for the stock exhaust that's on my 2012 so I can upgrade to a custom cat back Flowmaster setup on the 2012.

Last weekend I installed a Hayden 677 transmission cooler on my 2012 Mz5 with 24K miles. At the same time I flushed all the transmission fluids and replaced with Valvoline Import MV full synthetic fluid.

The M5 with 2.5 are geared taller, with numerically lower final drive. This is due to the fact that the 2.5 makes 15 lb/ft more torque at 4000 rpm than the 2.3. We own a 2008 and a 2012 M5 and I can tell you that there's no difference in acceleration.

Oil change in 2012 MZ5 at ~22000 miles. Mobil 1 0w20 extended performance w/ M1-209 filter.
