Damn it's been a while. Wife's car has been fixed and been good for a while now. Where does the time go? Anyway, got a front wheel bearing and finally some Delphi lower control arms. Planned on grabbing a hydraulic press from Harbor Freight to do my wheel bearings but they're fresh out of stock...
Yeah. I mean, you’re not wrong! I’ve had that issue where the tb shaft was leaking in the past.
Car has been set aside to deal with an issue on the wife’s car. After that is dealt with, hopefully I can get started on some long overdue maintenance
Borrowed my wife's wheels because why not. On Tuesday, I pulled her forester into the garage and lost all brake pressure. Discovered a leak at the rear passenger side junction. Not looking forward to repairing that.
No new updates with mine. It needs a wash and detailing soon though!
Forgot to update the Forester pranks on this forum for my fellow Mazda friends to enjoy :P Here it goes!

Weather has been strange this year and we finally have hot weather again. A/C started acting up after about 20-30 minutes of driving by blowing hot air. Usual story, turn off the...
I haven't purchased anything yet. I just got done figuring out an issue on my MSP and now I have to set it aside to work on one of my wife's cars. One of her hard brake lines started leaking while I pulled it into the garage earlier this week. Luckily it happened on the driveway and not while...
@bwalt It wasn't the TB shaft seal! Finally fixed my "fuel cut" issue by replacing my coil packs with hitachi units and ngk spark plug wires. Drove the car for an hour boosting around last night with no issues. I should've known better since it was acting up after the car full warmed up and at...
Is anyone still here? Finally replaced my radiator. @Gabe710 gave me his hand me down mishimoto radiator. Had a side quest of replacing the water neck gasket since I found a slow leak there 2-3 years ago.
That happened to me once but luckily I only made it about a block up the street. Mine was pretty obvious that the battery terminals were old corroded and stretched. Wiggled the negative terminal fix it for me.
Just wanted to share my experience. I purchased a used OEM flywheel off this forum and got it resurfaced. I've only have put about 8-9k miles on the car since the engine swap but all has been well so far and no shuddering when taking off from first gear.
Does the shudder only happen after driving around for a while? That’s how my msp was after it got hot then would be fine the next morning for about 30-40 minutes or so lol. I just left it as is since I was doing an engine swap soon. When everything came out, it ended up being hot spots on my...
