I just got a Cobb SRI for 185. yea its titties. Check my thread under Forced Induction. Got some pictures of the install. I really like it so far. Extremely loud though... way louder than what I anticipated!
Oh its effin loud. Almost too loud. Not when your wide open. But when your just into it a bout a quarter throttle and hitting like 1-5 psi. WHOOOOOOOSSSSSHHHH. Its insane. I couldnt believe it when I first drove it. I had to pull over and make sure everything was hooked up properly. Go...
MS6 Cobb SRI Installed/ UPDATED PICTURE of COBB SRI
Just finished installing the Cobb SRI for the MS6 (finally). I am extremely impressed. It is crazy loud though. Low rpm boost sounds like a wind tunnel under my hood. It goes away once I go WOT. Is this normal for it to create such a loud...
Wow... its insanely loud! It sounds like theres a tornado under my hood at low boost but then it goes away once im on it. I hope everything is together right. haha
So I just got my Cobb SRI today. I want to install it but I was wondering if I need to gut all the lower portion of the air box? I really dont want to because if I have to take it to the dealer ill just have to reinstall it. So my question is can I just remove the stock air box and install...
Yea... that looks like either tar or fly s***. No joke... Fly s***. The detail shop I use to rent a bay from use to have cars come in all the time that would have little black specks on them and its actually fly s***. Bug/tar remover should work either way.
I was just wondering if it would harm the car in any way to remove the cover over the inter cooler and leave it off? Kinda digging the way it looks without it. Anyone ever tried this? I know the upgraded tmic doesn't utilize it so does the stock one really need to?
Yea.. I didnt realize they offered one until after I ordered the COBB SRI. Oh well. i have the Cobb AP so Ill try to stick with all one brand as much as possible.
