Got mine and put it on. Well worth $25 or whatever it was. Definitely easier w/two people. I recommend starting at the middle (although the paper peels off from either end) and then one person working each side out to the end. We tried doing it from one end, and our job was not perfect. The...
Spent a couple hours detailing in & out. Tried 303 Graphene on all painted surfaces, after clay barring just my hood. Didn't need the nitrile gloves I used. Application is a piece of cake, and you can easily see where you put it. Removal takes the same effort, I'd say, as a gel wax. You...
I've always used the cheap black plastic (so rust-free) frames from WalMart, but this last time around I couldn't find any. I went w/Hal2's theory of using the dealer-provided (black plastic) ones, but used a black sharpie to cover over the dealer's name. It looks bad if you look right at it...
Tried searching, and consulting the manual... when I do the rear tilt-up on my sunroof, it seems to operate perfectly, but only rises about an inch. I could swear my 2014 (and every other car I've owned w/moon rooves) would tilt up more in the range of 3". Normal behavior?
hal2, I don't think it's overly kooky, especially if you have kids, etc., but I wouldn't go with seat covers myself. I could see using them for a long road trip, or during summers in Florida (if a seat cover is easier on the skin than hot leather -- but then I guess they'd interfere with the...
I don't value my time as related to my salary...I can't work more or less and make more or less. I value my free time as exponentially more valuable than my work time. It is much more limited, and of much more importance.
msrp on my 2020 signature was 38,100 including destination. Purchased June 2020. Price before my trade-in allowance was 33,157, including 1500 "double owner loyalty" and 500 "healthcare worker" discounts. Other than sales tax on the trade difference, title and license, the only other fee was...
I don't think any 2020 MSRP was higher than the low $38ks...? I bought a '20 signature (not Soul Red, which adds a couple $) a year ago, and the MSRP was $38.1, including transport. So that "Market Value" seems like a scam, unless the car is full of port or dealer add-ons. Also, the dealer...
JYTX, I too have a 2020 Sig w/1600 miles. Purchased early June, 2020. My current driving trips are just like yours. I have also been wrestling with when to get the first oil change (many will argue get the first one at 1000 miles), and have decided to get it at 9 month mark. My MsPG have...
I've owned Toyota Priuses and Camry hybrids, and my 2014 and now 2020 CX-5s both engine brake much more... I found that odd, given the hybrids were using engine braking for regeneration. Still haven't quite gotten used to it...it feels like I'm wasting gas.
Thanks, DwightFrye, for bringing me back that memory...my 370Z had that problem. Was still under warranty so I let them fix it. Major deal, had to remove the tank, etc. My car stank of unleaded for a month after that. Fortunately, twas a convertible, so that helped me deal w/it. Great car...
I hear ya, but there are times when it just doesn't seem to want to autolock even though I'm right there. Usually when fooling with opening/closing additional doors, to be true. I make sure to listen for the beeps (and watching the mirror) before leaving the area!
I like the feature but haven't figured out the scenarios when it won't work, especially when getting something out of the back seat, that type of thing. I don't leave the area until I see the mirrors moving in.
