A guy in the Philadelphia area. Kinda far for you to transport your wheels!
Are you a member of any local car forums in Ohio, or do you know of any other 'car people' who live in your area? Usually word of mouth is the best way to find a good powdercoater nearby -- I'd ask some friends, or make...
This. My boyfriend has an IS300 -- and for s**** & giggles one day, I tried to put his stock wheels on my MSP. Didn't work. So you'll have to invest more money to get them to mount -- wheel spacers, extended studs, etc.
Ever think about powdercoating? You'll probably wind up spending the same...
Welcome! :)
Make sure to check out the Stickies at the top of all the subforums in the MSP area -- you'll find a lot of good info and a lot of answers to your (inevitable) questions there.
You can feel the weave on the CF hood you have? Yeesh .. that's pretty bad. My hood just had a little clouding in one spot -- but I figured that if I was gonna get any paint done, I might as well go nuts! ;) .. Anyhoo, mine was sanded down thoroughly, painted, and then got a few nice layers of...
I got a huge LOL @ the Nismo 350Z.
And as much as I don't want to say it .. I really do hate the styling of the current Mazda models. It really is ridiculous -- there's so many curls and flares and slats and holes and swirlies and blaaaaah blah blaaaah, the lines of the car are obliterated...
Most important thing -- glad to hear you're okay!
Second most important thing -- are they charging the guy who hit you with everything possible? Like attempting to flee the scene and yadda-yadda? Is it up to you to press those charges or what? Cause if I were you, I'd be doing everything in my...
It's a great idea .. but the unfortunate truth is that it's extremely difficult to put into practice. We could put a sticky at the top of each section, in capital letters, with enough **$%*$*$*# kinda symbols to blind someone -- and people will STILL create their own threads and clutter things...
I've always wondered what happened to mine. It would've been relatively easy to fix, IMO (easy, but costly) .. and it still had almost all its engine bay goodies since I couldn't get to them in time. I know that some mechanic/body shop/dealership around Philly bought it from the salvage yard --...
Get in touch with Protephile on here. He sold me my HID kit back in the day. I loved it, his prices are awesome, and his customer service is second to none.
