This is an interesting post (not sure why the first few responses were negative unless there was a massive edit to the OP).
I noticed the same taillight misalignment issue you are referring to on my car, but in my case it was specifically after the dealer had done some body work which required...
+1. Manually downshifting to slow a descent works fine for me as well. Of course given the weight of the CX-9, you may still creep up to the car in front of you and need to use the brakes.
One additional data point: the 2009 GT has the homelink mirror from the factory, but it does NOT include a compass (at least mine doesn't) despite what the website says.
Seeing a lot of threads re: remote starters, now that the weather has gotten cold. It's also something my wife has been asking about.
Can anyone provide a rough estimate of how much the install would cost? mazdaparts shows the parts alone costing around $250.
I could have sworn I saw a...
Man, this thread popped up just in time. My stock blades are basically new (only have 6k miles on the car) but were not able to cut it when driving in the snowy mess we had last night in the northeast. They weren't able to scrape away even minimal ice buildup so it was impossible to see out of...
agree with other responses. space is tight (function of what kind of car seats you have), so it's better for a skinny person that is also isn't very tall (reduced legroom given armrest console). You can try to put both car seats side by side, but that may be a tight fit or impossible.
I...
My head doesn't touch the headrest when I drive, so it doesn't affect me, but I can see how it would bother a woman who has a pony tail or something else on the back of her head.
I had ordered winter tires/wheels from tirerack a few weeks ago and unwrapped them to install this weekend. Turns out most of the wheel balancing weights had fallen off and were stuck to the cardboard circle that protects the wheel.
I called tirerack and they said it was due to a problem with...
Very nice install. Do you have more pics/wiring diagrams? What do the different buttons do?
I assume you lose the ability for someone to sit in that middle seat? There's not that much footroom for that seat to begin with. Or can the passenger's legs just straddle the console?
Hi IV,
I'm in your boat. I'll be using the OE Dueller's (20") for 3 seasons and swapping to dedicated winter rim/tire setup for 1 season (18" Bridgestone Blizzak DM-Z3). I'll be doing the swap myself later this month and using the TPMS reset procedure in the manual that ceric quoted. Have...
