Try having a clear tint installed on the windshield. It'll cut down on the heat and will actually benefit your dashboard, seats, and helps the AC cool down the interior quicker. I've had it installed in our former 2010 CX-9 GT and our current 2019 CX-9 Signature. It helps a lot. Also, if you...
On our 2019 Signature, I use the built-in GPS more than Carplay due to the HUD. If Carplay showed directions on the HUD, I would use Google Maps with offline maps always. Or Sygic.
Like I mentioned in another thread or two, I would have traded in our 2019 Signature for the 2021 because of the infotainment system IF Mazda had kept the 2nd row bench and the Auburn interior or changed it to something like the Espresso on the 2022 Acura MDX. I would even consider a GT AWD if...
I actually did this about a month after getting our 2019 Signature because I was so irritated that the headlamps were aimed too low. I searched in this forum on how to raise the aim and found those adjustment screws. I performed the adjustments inside my garage and used the garage door to mark...
I have yet to find a reason to have a device mount in the CX-9. I usually plug the device in (to have CarPlay capability) and place it in the front cubby of the center console. I have also yet to find a situation where I needed to see the device's screen while driving the CX-9. I mainly use the...
My only concerns with used vehicles are whether it was involved in an accident or has a rebuilt title. If none of those apply, and you've done your due diligence with a dealer inspection, then I would not worry too much about it.
With the torque on the 2.5T engine, I prefer AWD.
This is a...
Due to an old Snapper riding lawn mower that I bought that had a dodgy battery, I bought this Battery charger from Costco when it went on sale. The amount of times I've used it between my 3 vehicles and my riding lawn mower (which has a new battery now) has made it worth every penny.
As per my understanding, the rear climate controls can only be synched up to the front climate controls where the same settings up front are reflected in the rear. As far as overriding those front climate controls, the rear climate controls need to be used to set a specific temperature, fan...
I would get AWD due to the torque of the 2.5T. I think the Mazda3 Turbo was released AWD only due to the torque and the amount of wheelspin it can create on an FWD only application.
Hyundai/Kia has that issue on their 2.5T FWD application in the Sonata N-Line and K5 GT.
I have a 2019 Signature and this has happened to me too. I think that it mostly happens when the infotainment crashes and reboots. At least, that has been my observation and it is irritating as hell.
Interesting. I didn’t push too hard since I don’t have the urgency that you had. I’ll call around to see if any of the locations have a hitch in stock or could, at least, give me an idea when the hitches would come in. Thanks.
Yeah, they will allow ordering and scheduling but whether the hitch is actually shipped to UHaul is a different matter altogether. I would call them and see if they already have the hitch in the store. At least, you’ll actually know if you’re good to go (or not) for tomorrow.
Anyone having issues with the 367A firmware? It seems like the infotainment does boot up quicker. However, I’ve noticed that I lose sound sometimes. One time, the screen didn’t prompt for the ‘I agree’ message and stayed dark. I had to restart the vehicle to get it back up. When I’m listening to...
