My guess is that they'll bump up the power for the non turbo, change the incandescent bulbs to full LED, trickle down some of the higher trim features down like adding a power driver seat for the base model (and raising the price).
Yeah. It's stupid as hell. No armrest or cupholders. So you have 4 cupholders in the front row and rear has 2 cupholders, one at each door. The CX-9 Sport has the armrest and cupholders in the second row without the USBs
As far as I know the base Camry L has a manual seat as well.
The main issue I have rear armrest with cupholders missing for the base model. I don't need one with USB ports but geez. Everyone in the rear has to hold their drinks because the ones in the door are slanted at an obscene angle. I...
Power: 184 hp @ 5700 rpm
Torque: 185 lb-ft @ 3250 rpm
Power: 187 hp @ 6000 rpm
Torque: 185 lb-ft @ 4000 rpm
There are the power figures for both engines. Assuming both engines are in the same identical car, how is the updated engine improved over the previous one? In the first generation CX5...
You bought the outer portion of the taillight only right? Are you planning the inside where the reverse light is?

I saw a diesel model when I had scheduled maintenance last week, the listed sticker was $43K after some window tint and paint protection. For that money might as well get a CX-9 GT.
I did the mod two months after purchasing the vehicle. Taking apart the dash was the easy part but wiring the CMU took more time than expected. Overall, the entire process was about 2 hours. The software for Android auto isn't perfect but it's definitely superior to stock. In additional to...
My brother drives a 2016 CX-5 and it definitely feels lighter and spry compared to my vehicle in terms of acceleration and spirited driving. The only downside I had was the noticeable wind noise at 80mph on the freeway.
I appreciate the concern. I went in on July 3rd and there was one other car waiting for service so it was not busy at all. I verified on the Mazda website that the VIN recall status was closed.
I had mines completed yesterday along with an oil change/tire rotation. Took about an hour. I revved the crap of it and took it up to 95mph for a split second. Everything seems fine.
Update:
I dropped my car off before work hoping the dealership would discover and repair the rattle. Instead, they gave it a loaner car and told me to return it later that day. Sweet! The tech was able to conduct some road test and was able to diagnose the issue. It turned out the clear plastic...
Not a big fan of American cars but if I had to, I'd choose a Ford. The CRV has engine issues so they're out. Toyota, Honda and Mazda for me. Hopefully this CX-5 I have will last for a while.
