I think it's 2" max. Why do you need an adaptor? Typically the rear section flange fits the OEM flange regardless of the size of the pipe. Are you just buying a rear section?
Where are you located? I have a 2.25" resonated center pipe if you are interested.
yes you can.
Where are you located? I'll sell/trade for your thin rubber strips. You can get a nice complete factory roofrack out of the deal.
I'm in socal.
Will probably be "OK" for 60-100K mi+ on a stock car driven conservatively on smooth roads.
Towards the end of life they'll diminish damping but should not feel too objectionable. Most average people have no idea what the car is supposed to feel like and that's why you have a high number of...
it does not "sag", that is the incorrect way to look at it as it implies something is wrong etc.
The rear spring perches are lower on the P5 from what I understand, or also the P5 OEM springs are an extra coil longer; along with differences in the wheel arch position makes the rear look lower...
No big deal. The reason for offsets is to clear suspension components and to work with existing suspension geometry. The way the bearings are made they can handle a lot of load changes, think of what happens when you are in major cornering loads or over bumpy surfaces. You have to worry less...
why would your springs be bad? They can do millions of cycles and won;t have any issues unless they receive damage from impact/heat/etc.
What symptom tells you it's the spring? Are you just looking for an excuse to buy lowering springs?
Just get the springs and all four struts. You'll...
you may need to change the swaybar endlinks anyhow due to them being frozen on there.
You can certainly change the front strut mounts as they do get worn in time.
You can also change things like sway bar bushings and lube.
Do whatever extras you want to really.
Any info on the true height difference? It seems like a lowering of the front by 1/4 to 3/8 may bring it in line with the rear. Anyone else think it needs to go even lower than that? adjustment of the upper spring hat may be the solution.
I think I'll try this soon
I'd like some info on this too. If you get the MSP strut, the height should be good for the rear of the P5 correct?
What is the difference in height of the spring collars? 1"? .5"? Less?
Anyone install the springs with any spring pads that help raise it a bit? Or remove spring pad from the...
I like my eibach pro kit. Good for a daily driver.
You can get MSP springs and struts. Very minimal drop and better spring rate.
Just using rear msp spring and P5 struts makes the rear look a little droopy, this is curd by using the MSP struts in the rear.
