3 small chips on my hood, nothing on my front bumper yet. On my 2014 mazda 3, also white, I had less than 10 rock chips in the 3 1/2 years I've had it.
Getting rock chips is kind of unavoidable. Every time I see people say their previous car never had this issue, maybe you just got lucky. Every single car I've had has had rock chips up front. And every car forum I'm in, has people complaining about the rock chips and how their previous car...
I've had it kick in before too, while braking slowly but traffic came to sudden stop and car think I wasn't braking hard enough. Gave me quite a scare even though I knew I was in control and wasn't going to hit the car, but I guess car think I wasn't stepping on the brakes hard enough.
On hatchbacks/CUV/SUVs I like the look of the darker rear and lighter front. On a 4 door car I like the same % tint all around. That said, I have 35 % up front and 20% over the rear factory tint, plus 70% on the windshield and 55% on the sunroof to block heat. 35% is too light for me so I added...
The only rattle I'm getting is coming from the drivers side a pillar by the tweeter area. I only get the rattle when the temperature reads 68-69 degrees. Anything before or after that will be okay. I took the weather strip off and looked under the cover by the side airbags and just stuck some...
A lot of car manufacturers going with white LED fog lights now because the look good. They don't work well in rain as well as halogen fogs do. I haven't tried in heavy fog yet but I think they will be okay in fog, just not in rain. White color gets absorbed by the wet road so it becomes useless...
Yup even with BSM and my mirrors adjusted out, it's second nature to look over my shoulder. No matter how well you've had it adjusted you should always look! I've had enough idiots merge into my lane while I'm next to them. You should not be telling people not to look over their shoulder anymore...
I'll probably have it looked at next weekend. I had to use the a/c today, I don't hear the sound when a/c is turned on but once I turn it off I'll hear the rumble again. It's not all the time, it's only every so often, very weird. I'll have it looked at.
It's an automatic btw :)
Recently I've noticed a low rumbling sound when I'm at a stop while in gear. I don't listen to music very loud so it's not too noticeable when music is on. I can only hear it when I'm in drive or reverse and foot on the brakes at a complete stop. As soon as I start moving or if I put the car in...
You want my opinion? I personally don't like plasti dip anything, I think it makes it look cheap even more with the matte black unfinished paint look. Instead of plasti dip, I had my front chrome grill wrapped in black chrome vinyl and then I painted the fog light chrome ring and front/rear...
The fogs are nothing special, I've seen better performing fogs. I do like the look with the fogs on tho, they match the low beams perfectly but they don't project light out very far and that's to be expected. However, comparing to the halogen fogs on my 2014 mazda 3, these LED fogs have a wider...
After you turn off ignition do all your doors unlock? If your passenger doors are locked, the liftgate won't open when you use the button inside the car or on the liftgate itself. Using the remote will open them regardless if doors are locked or unlocked.
