"130 degrees after 36 hours with the motor off? Your thermometer ain't right. Can you hold your hand to the block at that temp?"
So, can you hold your hand on the block or not?
You sprayed cold water on a hot engine? Not something that I would recommend doing.
Warm engine, yes. Hot engine, no. No need to take the chance of messing something up.
Did the cleaner that you sprayed on sizzle when spraying it onto the hot bits like the exhaust?
Another possible issue...
Are we being trolled here or what?
No way that motor remains hot/warm overnight.

I'm calling BS on this one.
I feel your pain, and then some!!!
Not car related but stink related, nonetheless.
We had a bad smell (dead animal for sure) in one of the rooms of our basement, but only when the wind would blow from the west. Strange.
After some investigation with my nose, both inside and outside, I...
A diesel CX-5? I would suggest doing as much research as possible on these vehicles.
Check this forum. It seems that these vehicles have an undo number of issues such as cracked heads and blown head gaskets. Not good.
YMMV
Seems that this has happened twice, and now you're on the third battery? How did you get the car that wouldn't start to the dealership, twice?
I know that you shouldn't have to do this with a new car, but do you have a multimeter? Since the dealership can't find the issue perhaps a little...
I did the same last year. (or was it the year before?) I'm still using the original battery in my 2016.5. The battery is of the type that has removable plugs for each cell of the battery. Just unscrew them and do a check. After checking, each cell was a bit low, so I topped em with distilled water.
No, that's not how it works.
If the system did work the way you suggest then there would be no need to press an Action Button to open anything, you'd just reach for the door handle, and it would be unlocked. It doesn't work that way at all since a button HAS to be pressed, either on the fob or...
Yes, that's how it works on my CX. All doors locked, including the hatch. I walk up to the car with the fob in my pocket and I press the action button on the hatch; the hatch unlocks only.
