I would make certain it is entered into the MAZDA database that the wrong oil was used. I had the same thing and caught if a mile away and had them replace filter and oil. Excuse was that they don't sell alot of turbos.

Based on the fact there are holes, the last thing I would do is remove them and use dots to cover. Just my humble opinion.

I wonder if anyone switches FOBS periodically? I think I am going to change battery in the FOB I an using so it is fresh. Put it away and use the spare. After 6 months replace the battery and switch FOBS. Batteries are cheap and will always have a good spare.

The VIN will only show Model: CX5. It does not break down the trim.
