Thanks for the post! Both my 2nd row seats won't fold flat - I started taking apart seat using guide in the service manual but turns out I didn't have to.
In the first photo below, before removing the lever it looked to me that all is good since you can see the end of the cable seated into...
I'm not sure what would cause the remote to work but not the switch by the steering wheel.
My spring was extremely rusted well beyond repair, so I replaced the entire handle. I don't have a working power lift gate anymore since my liftgate arm ripped itself out of the liftgate: 2010 CX-9 power...
I don't have the tools/skills to do that. I've approached a couple places, they don't want to do it or they want a bunch of money to remove/re-install the glass as they are weary of welding near it causing it to heat up and shatter.
I looked in the CX-9 workshop manual how to disconnect the...
There were three options in 2010.
The bose 4.3" unit non-nav with backup camera.
The larger 7" screen with navigation (I think also bose) that has a backup camera.
Radio with no screen. You could get a dealer installed OEM option for a backup camera in the rearview mirror.
This thread implies...
But the website says its only for 2010s with Nav unit - Crutchfield says the same, why I'm asking here if anyone has actually used either of these kits on the Bose 4.3" headunit.

Anyone know if you can use AX-MAZCAM-6V or AX-CAM6V from Axxess to retain camera from OEM rear camera on a modern head unit?
I've seen a number of threads about this - but then mention the Nav OEM headunit. I have the "Bose Audio System; with 4.3" LCD Screen" in a 2010 CX-9 Touring.
I've has Sirius XM in my 2010 CX-9 since I bought it new over 12 years ago. Suddenly overnight, it just says "Acquiring signal' - despite 12 years of solid performance. Whats strange is if I drive to the other side of town, it works fine! I have to drive about 10-15 miles before it works...
So I guess this is why my old liftgate handle wasn't working :) I have the power liftgate. Replacement handle from realmazdaparts.com
Wasn't too bad, the hardest part is finding suitable replacement for broken clips.
I used this motor (for left side of car) - Amazon ASIN B07P94NZ3L
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07P94NZ3L/
Fixed it no problems! Not bad for $30 motor. I don't need it to last another 12 years, sure the car will be gone by then.
This video helped me take off left side rear door panel...
I'm having this problem too. Driver side rear window - goes up/down fine but when it gets all the way to the top you get a grinding sound, like the motor doesn't know its reached the top.
Replacing the motor seems easy enough based on this video, and the motors are ~30 on Amazon for non-OEM...
I have a replacement handle on the way from realmazdaparts.com . The service manual shows taking almost all the inside trim off the liftgate to replace this handle - is that what you had to do when cleaning it?
My outside handle doesn't work, and I can tell the power liftgate strut is about to...
then maybe I'm not describing the right part. I'm talking about the liftgate handle on the outside of the liftgate on the back of the car. When you squeeze it to open the liftgate, it stays in open position unless you finagle it back to closed position. I'm constantly wiping salt off that...
I used Tri-Flow
Curiously, my friend who live nearby has 2010 CX-9 without power liftgate, same issue. He lost all his groceries recently on the highway because the liftgate was closed, but the handle stuck in the open position. I wonder if its a road salt thing.
Liftgate latch handle is sticky / not working on my 2010 Touring w/power liftgate. If you go to open the liftgate, often I find the handle stuck in the open position. I often have to work it closed.
Lubricating the handle indiscriminately (since I can't see well inside the mechanism) works...
Found this thread that described issue I am having - I think I will try this fix:
