You can get away with +40 or +42 offset on a lowered P5. A lot depends on the tread design & sidewall of the rubbers you buy. If you want to play it safe, go with +45 or +48.
But 35 is definitely WAY too low. Check the fitment guide posted right above me though.

EDIT - JAN 30th - NO LONGER LOOKING. FOUND A SET ALREADY
Looking to pick up a set of 17s or 18s in GOOD condition. No warp, no curb rash. If they come with rubbers, great. If not, no worries. Located in Toronto, but might have the possibility of having them shipped to a US address and then I...
I just had this happen to me as well. Idle was low and rough. Car felt like it was going to stall whenever idling. Difficulty starting. Jumpy RPMs when letting off gas going down hills. Finally threw a CEL this morning. Took it to the dealership and got the same code "Random Misfiring". Replaced...
ahhhh,..okay. Niv PM'd me and mentioned that him and BigWoofer are running (or will be running) fluidyne 6 pass coolers mounted on the passenger side in front of rad. So that helps, knowing they're both Auto.
Anyone else have experience with Fluidyne?
I have an auto P5 which I will be boosting within about a year. I want to do it right, so one of the things I'm looking into is getting a tranny cooler.
I figure for the tranny cooler, I might as well just get the most powerful one available (not much difference in price).
Any drawbacks to...
not trying to steal members here or anything, but your best bet is to sign up on http://www.toprotege.com (well,...it's being hoseted at www.toprotege.net temporarily, but that's another story). That's the Toronto Protege Club, so you will have more luck there.
We're making some big upgrades to the board. This is just the first step. It's temporary, but everything is still available on www.toprotege.net
The changes will be well worth it once they are completed.
I'm interested in 4 wheel Big-Brake upgrades too. I know that Stop Tech has a kit for about $2000 USD (but I thikn it's fronts only). Looking for some other options. For me it's mostly cosmetic too (I must admit. My 19s really dwarf my rotors and as they say,...go big or go home. Also, with all...
Removing the tails on a P5 is just as easy. If you look inside the hatch behind wher the lights are, you will find 3 circles on the driver's side, and one on the passenger side. Each circle has one small tab part that you can push inward and then pull the circle cap out (towards the front of the...
