Just curious if anyone has any of the above for a Protege5 lying around looking to sell them. Not in any rush, so Im throwing this out there as a feeler. They would need to be in good condition.
PM is key.
Thanks
sweet. Thanks dude. But are you sure that's for H&R? Those are the exact same rates as Tein S-Tech, and I thought H&Rs were supposed to be a lot stiffer than S-Tech.
^ LMAO. Nice Double post. And we're the morons right? :p
For the record...
TOProtege does NOT supply the link to the workshop manual to ANYONE. Infact, there is script written into our board that prohibits the posting of that link. So get your facts straight before you run your mouth off...
LMAO. Ok buddy. I'm the knob? Who's the one selling bootleg workshop manuals? Call me all the names you want. I really don't care. I know I'm not the only one that realizes you've got things mixed up.
No worries. I'm getting it all from a buddy of mine from the Toronto Club at a fraction of the above prices. He's a dealer, so he gets better prices than what JRP offers. And I'll have everything tomorrow, so I'll get the seats in just in time for our huge meet (Meeting of the Mazdas) this...
I'm not sure which one it is, but it's one of these two I think. I'll let you know as soon as I find out though.

not to worry. I was talking to someone from the Toronto Protege Club, and it seems my brackets will work fine if I just get the height adjusters. That way I can mount directly above the curved rails. What was throwing me off was that it was mounted to those 2 extra bars that mine have welded on...
the more I look at it, I'm starting to think yours are going to be exactly the same as mine, only mine have the 2 extra bars added to them for mounting. Whereas yours need the adaptors for mounting. I think if I was to have those two mounting brackets removed from mine and then strategically...
and lastly, a picture of the rails on the new seat showing the dimensions I'm looking for in a new bracket (hopefully these are what the Mantaray brackets are like).
Here's the the pics of the Wedge Brackets.
Measurements were taken from the centre of the hole to centre of the hole.
Weight of each bracket is 11 lbs
Picture #1 - shows measurements
Picture #2 - shows Wedge identification label on passenger bracket
Picture #3 - shows Bracket mounted (without...
I'll get pics and measurements for you and will PM you once I have them (hopefully tonight). Can you do the same for me (measurements, etc.) so that I can verify whether they will work 100% or not.
What did you do to lighten your brackets? Nothing that compromised the strength of them I would...
I know this is a long shot...but I have a set of Wedge Engineering (Sparco) seat brackets. These brackets worked perfectly for my Torino STYLE seats, but I recently picked up a new set of seats, and the mounting points are different on the base / rails.
From my understanding, the Mantaray...
as per subject...looking for somewhere to buy Bride Mounting Brackets for a P5. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I couldn't find a proper area to post this...
Just wondering if anyone has installed, or tried to Install Sparco Fighter seats in their 3rd Gen Protege. I looked at the sizing chart on Sparco's website, and I compared it to the Torino Style seats that I have in my P5, and it looks like they...
