I am surprised that Mazda US is offering this free upgrade, not sure about Canada.
I wanted to make sure my info from service was correct so I stuck my head back in there later and asked again for clarity.
To me: Duh.
The airbag light stays on until someone sits in it.. which I suspected but the manual is not clear on this. The airbag light staying on was something I just never noticed.
My wife's Toyota Venza is the opposite. When in the passenger seat, the ABS light is activated.
The...
Sorry if this is old info.
I'm at Mazda service and the service rep clearly stated ACP will be offered as a free upgrade in January. This applies to all 2018 GT and Signature trim CX-9's and Mazda 6's.
If you want the upgrade now, you'll have to pay for it. If anyone has heard conflicting...
Anybody ever have the bright yellow passenger airbag light stay on?
Driving down the road I heard a distinctive chime and didn't think anything of it.
Then, a short while later, I noticed that the passenger airbag light was on. It's located in a dark strip just above the climate controls...
Here's a thread on this issue: https://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?123861196-2017-CX-9-Signature-Vibration-on-Highway-when-65-mph
For the record, my 2018 CX-9 rides smooth at any speed.
I have a friend who has a friend that thought he wanted Lane Centering as well. That was until his car squarely hit every pothole. Some ideas look great on paper...
Just wondering if someone has the invoice price on a 2019 CX-9 in white.
Do all dealerships buy inventory from Mazda at the same price? If not, how does that work?
Thanks in advance!
Glad to know piano black can be buffed out. Not glad to know to it yourself, it requires buying an interior detaling kit and takes a lot of prep time and finesse. I'm out.
I'll live with the scratches or pay a pro to fix it.
The head mechanic at my dealership said under normal driver conditions, I shouldn't have to have any brake work done until 80-90k miles or beyond. He also said he hasn't yet done one brake job on the '16+ CX-9's.
He didn't mention any maintainance.
On occasion, I've had the EXACT same thing happen. Dry pavement, quick acceleration into traffic, front wheel spin with a slight pull, all the same as you. I will admit, having to correct the steering as much as I did freaked me out a little.
I wonder if larger drops in depreciation is becoming more common overall. The resale / trade-in value on my 2013 Rav4 Limited after only 3 years with less than 36k miles was laughable.
