I have a new set of bulbs coming from the ole store in the sky. Sealight S1-Pros. See how they work, if they are no better (although I think they will be), I will return them and go with the tried and true 35w 4300k HID system. I will put the 55w 4300k HID in high beam then as well.
Those lights I bought were not good. The reviews were mixed some said super bright some said NOPE. I say NOPE. they were a little brighter than the old original halogens in the car, but no where near what I was looking for.
Next up is to order a set off amazon and give them a go. The cut off...
Again, it's all to do with the miata, and Nothing to do with the F150. Your ass is like 2 inches off the road in the miata. It's a tiny low vehicle. My trucks lights are aimed properly. It's not it's fault the miata is one of the smallest, lowest cars on the road.
EDIT: Not that I don't...
They are........ok. Beam pattern is great but they don't have what I am looking for. They are brighter than the halogens, but not nearly as good as my F150 lights. I am returning them and going with another brand. Report on those soon.
Just installed my LED lights in the low beam. Waiting for the night to see if I have to get a better set. The ones I bought were the ignite brand from Canadian tire. Had a good week of bonuses at work so i took some and bought the bulbs. Night pics in a few hours.
Let's see how this set does. They are ignite brand from Canadian Tire. I am waiting for the dark to give them a proper try. Against my white garage door the beam pattern is exactly the same as the halogen, maybe a little wider because halogen sucks prairie oysters anyways. But ANYTHING is...
One of my doors does this as well. I am going to give the mechanism I good closing and lubrication and see how that works. I hope I don't have to replace the door latch system all together.
We don’t have a lot of massive hills, our speed limit is 60mph/100km/h. I figure it would do it no issue. Our 5 has the hitch already installed. I am going to take the trailer without any camping gear loaded in the deck and see how it does.
We have 500kms on it so far and it's like we never left the 5 family. It's such a great vehicle. We will be doing some JDMing of the car in the spring. ha ha.
We present "happie". Our 18 year old son with autism named him happie because 1. happie has a big smile on his face, and 2. It made us all happy to be back in a 5.
I have noticed that the one touch lane changes signal is not active on our 2017, Is this an option I can activate via menus? I use this feature constantly.
I have been reading about towing with the 5. Some say none, some say 1500 max. Anyone have the correct information? We have a sylvansport go trail/camper unit. it's 860 lbs, toss our 3 bikes and camping gear it gets to about 1000 max as we have all very lightweight gear. Can we pull this...
