Ya now that the bov is lubed up it even sounds alot louder and nicer. I was going to use wd-40 but i think pb blaster is alot better because it last longer. I will keep doing this every month know just like smokey.(drinks)
hey guys i lubricated the bov and happy to say its runing like new, if anyone has the problem of it sticking follow this advice, it worked for me(yippy)
Hey guys i just called turbo xs and ask them what i should use to grease up my bov, he told me not to use grease of any kind, all i have to use is wd-40 and put a light coating in the bov and that should be good, I just wanted to let you guys know in case you need to grease your bov's.
I had the turbo xs for a while, i took it out to lubricate it and see if that works. I live in cold weather and i know that in that type of weather they can dry out after awhile. Im going to try this and let you guys know how it turns out.
Just to let everyone know that, ya not everything on ebay is great but i did have a scion tc, and everything i got for that car was from ebay and saved alot of money and the car ran like a champ.
if this is true that the kit is just for show then that means that my friend would not be driving his car daily and taking it to the track for 1year. I dont know about anyone else but that seems pretty good to me when you figure the price you pay for other kits.
I was wondering what you guys think, i have a turboxs bov but i don't know if the car gains more power with it or does it lose power. I was thinking of just putting back the old bpv but im not sure.(nervous)
its going to the dyno again in about 2 weeks, because i orderd the acces port for it and im going to do some tuning and see were the numbers take me(cabpatch)
Ya i think it is a mustang dyno and the car only sat for about 20min before dyno after driving it for abou 1hr, i think heat soak had alot to do with the numbers. I think if the car would have sat for a longer time the numbers would be higher, but looking at all that id say not to bad.(dunno)
