Plus, they didn't test some of the big-name brand fuels (e.g. BP, Amoco) that are not marketed as top-tier, yet still (supposedly) contain the same level of cleaning additives.
Why would it harm the engine? It's just basically using the air inside the closed cylinder as a spring. The pressure when the air is compressed is orders of magnitude less than when the fuel/air mixture fires in normal operation.
Maybe because the 2016 didn't care about the lock. I can say that I temporarily switched the Nav card from the wife's 2019 into our daughter's 2019 and it didn't work.
I assume that this is a follow up to your earlier thread here?: Fuses and Relays all messed up, need help
I looked at the relays in your pic, and don't see anything wrong either.
Also, the "Here" map app uses downloaded regional maps to your phone (by default). I've never tried it in my CX-50 though, so not sure if it works with the HUD.
Are you saying some Mazdas have a motion sensor in the cabin? That's pretty rare with anything other than luxury cars. My (other) GM car has a car alarm, but no cabin sensor. Similarly, my daughter's Ford has an alarm but no cabin sensor.
Correct. As I said above, US models don't have the alarm.
Nothing to do with 'sensors' (expect maybe a shock sensor). Just a software difference.
As I said, with the Fortin remote starter box, you can enable an alarm to go off if the door is opened while the car is locked. See: Fortin...
I would tend to disagree. CV joints usually make noise only when (moving and) turning, when you can get grinding or knocking noises. But I doubt you would hear anything from them while stationary.
From your symptoms I would think the LCA(s). I think you said you replaced them, but check the...
I think you may have understood that the wrong way round. LOWER octane fuels are subject to detonation (knock) and THAT can burn holes in pistons, etc.
Attached is the relay layout. The relays themselves will either only insert one way, or, if they are symmetrical, if doesn't matter which way they are inserted.
Just FYI, I did the same as @HyFlyer for our 2014. The ones I got were these and (so far) work perfectly fine, with a good cutoff. Note the low beams are projector housings, so the cutoff is performed internally with a shroud. Any bulb should be fine.
