Gas used doesnt matter, its governed to 130. Get a tune and you can raise it, but drag and the floaty swirly feeling on the skinny stock tires wont be much fun.
IDK if they still do or not, but a lot of dealers used to sell Racing Beat aftermarket products right in the showroom. I do know of several dealers, Mazda and non-Mazda, that currently sell lowering springs etc. In order to void the warranty, they'd have to prove that your installed products...
I agree. I took the 6 month or however many miles and threw the month thing out the window the first time I heard it.
If it takes 1-2 years to put 5-7500 miles on the car, then that's when it will get changed, and there will be zero problems. That's how long it takes my weekend warrior garbage...
Very tempting for a lot of folks I would imagine. These things run rich as hell from the factory for an extra safety blanket on detonation. There's definitely power there to be had with a lean out and timing, still keeping a safety blanket, of course. Tweak a few other things, and hold boost...
On my other cars, I reflash the ECU if needed to take in to warranty work, they can't tell. On another car, I bought a spare ECU to tune and put the stocker in the drawer just in case.
On the Mazda, idk, never tuned one, just know what goes on when you do, haven't looked at the interface...
He's had one for going on 4 years and highly recommends them.
I don't have a tune on a Mazda, but after speaking with Mat @ovtune, I also recommend them and understand exactly what they do to make these little engines come alive.
Its not.
If a dealer will start at 7-9%, you can manage 12-13% pretty easily. Patience and sticking to your guns.
I dont even waste my time messing with dealers that start out less than 9-10%.
Also, why settle for a 200 mike radius, branch out to 500 Miles or a days drive. No use in...
The video doesn't show any paint damage at all, just residue all over the car from over spray. Yes, it would've came out with a wash and what not (why didn't they show the aftermath of that, hmm)
The video is utter garbage, kinda like Rain-X windshield washer fluid. lol
What a waste.
Hell...
