I would ask what it is you are trying to achieve by changing the width... Wider tires have a different shaped contact patch (sometimes to the detriment), more wind resistance, less resistance to hydroplaning, greater rolling resistance, heavier unsprung weight, change in sound resonance, and...

#1 Check and adjust tire pressure accordingly. Then, try it rolling it at say 15 mph in both D and N to see if you have dragging brakes or if its just drivetrain / engine braking.

For myself, I prefer to run the car without the A/C for the final 30 seconds before parking and turning off the car. This allows more of the condensation to be blown off of the A/C coils and drip tray, preventing mold, mildew, and the "musty" smell upon next use.

While just a general rule of thumb, a set of rotors will typically outlive at least one set of pads, maybe 2. You are recommended to lathe the rotors when installing a new set of pads, that is why some just forgo the machining process, and just install a new rotor to prevent customer comebacks...

If it were mine, I would bring all the tires to the desired PSI, and then before your next drive, perform the TPMS reset Button procedure on your own before bringing to a shop.

Same thing with attack in the exterior scratches start with a very light polish cleaner wax and if that doesn't clean up your scratches you can go with a more aggressive Polishing Compound

If you want to be a little more precise you can use some of the blue masking tape to tape off the areas you don't want to get the Polish on . My choice of steps on polishing paints and plastic is to always start with the least aggressive and see if that does the trick, if not , then move up...

After touching the 25lb general tires vs the 27lb yokohama, I felt like the Yokohama was better constructed. The Yokohama is Made in USA as well.

I think that if 2500 rpm feels high to you, then you might not have owned many 4 cyl vehicles before. My first gen MX-5 Miata's would be around 4000 RPM at 70mph. :) However, I too, am ready for the next version of the SKYACTIV transmission as well.
