I have the pleasure of living in an apt complex with kids that "ghost ride" their bikes...into my car! just found two massive, to the metal, scratches on my drivers rear door all the way onto the rear quarter. Can't wait to get this quoted. On topic, I have no idea about Dr. Colorchip but every...
yeah that black looks very good. how much extra was the powdercoat option? If this piece were 49 dollars cheaper it would be a lot easier to pull the trigger on it. You price the gen1 ms3 piece $199 =P
I am curious to see what cost ends up being. I have a feeling it will be really close to FMIC prices...and then...why not just go front mount I wonder. Of course, this is all speculation. Regardless I am anxious to see what numbers this piece will put up.
yea that was starting to confuse me.
doesn't help that the txt description on ETS and SU pages are just a cut&paste of eachother...
I realize we are a ways away, but how soon before you'd start testing the CS piece (considering you are shooting for Dec delivery)?
agreed. I only run a stage 1 on my AP and I reflashed to stock for a trip to the dealer. Needless to say I could not wait to get out of there and reflash back to stage 1.
If you are worried about warranty you might as well forget about decent bolt ons...like that downpipe.
guy from SU flat out told me there is no difference in top mounts across brands and that, "they're all basically the same." really? Because the ets piece is cheaper than theirs and in stock (last time i checked). Is this true or was dude just being cross because I asked what was better about the...
Does it make any sense at all to run BC Coils on the front and just upgraded springs (roadmagnet) on the rear? That seems really strange to me but I don't know much...about anything, really. Would be getting a serious deal on them (slightly used) but having the mix n match thing just sounds...
Yes, Cobb pieces aren't cheap; that's for sure. The difference in design is really what I'm curious about. Benefits of the CS design over the Cobb or are they relatively equal regarding performance/reliability(of both car and DP)/effeciency...etc.
the CS TBE is really nice......itchy trigger...
Looking at one of the two in subject.
What issues would I have with Cobb DP & CS CBE? What additional pieces would I need and would I have any fitment issues? I would want Hi-Flo Cats and if I went with the CS TBE, I would opt for the hi-flo option.
Secondly, what would be the benefits of a CS...
I thought a new dp voided, as well. idk - the dealership will tell you putting purple washer fluid in it will void the warranty...I honestly don't know what does or doesn't - but if you have concerns about voiding factory warranty; I'd keep the mods to a min.
I am absolutely going to buy a TMIC and would certainly be interested in a piece from CS
Edit: I mean I literally was going to purchase the SU piece within the week...but will hold off for a bit if a (better) CS piece is developed.
