Biggest Australian road trip was a 31hr round trip from Adelaide to Sydney to Melbourne then back to Adelaide. 8hr drives each day. Electric adjusted seats held up really well, can't say I complained about them. We had 3 in the car with a boot full of gear. If I can recall, mileage in mpg was...
Spotted a new-gen CX-5 with plates "ZOOM" next to the wife's CX-5 this morning at the lights on the way to work. I was driving right behind the missus :)
These trim kit is available in Australia mate. Kuroi Sports Pack under accessories about $2k. Actually saw one today parked in the city with this accessory. Will post up a pic later.

Yeh. A lot of manufacturers are now trying to release more crossover models especially VW, Alfa, Peugeot. Mitsubishi, Nissan have more SUVs in their lineup than passenger cars. Lamborghini, Maserati now have an SUV model. This trend will continue for sometime yet and could be the future.

YOY sales are on the up for the SUV lineup which is good to see.
Passenger car sales are on the decline overall around the world as the popularity of crossovers is soaring so not surprising there.

Not sure to be exact. They are also 8.5" wide I believe as opposed to 7" wide CX-5 19" wheels so they'd weigh a bit more.

We do get the gun metal colour here in Oz but I'd still be hesitant to add more weight to the car by swapping to 20" wheels. They do suit the CX-5 rather well though.

Exactly. Almost certain those are just the 20" wheels from the new CX-9. They are identical. Same color too. Just get them from your Mazda dealer but be prepared to pay $$.
The IG user and owner of the vehicle has responded. He says you cannot use the same springs on the '17 CX-5 as on the '16. They are different. He may have coilovers I think.
Mazda spokespersons have confirmed it as reported by various automotive journalists and websites. Believe what you will. As I said, I for one do not care if it comes or not.
Mazda has actually said there will be a retro software upgrade for CP and AA coming soon.
Personally if it never comes true, it's not going to deter me from buying the vehicle I want, be it Mazda or not. The main criteria of my mode of transport would be driveability, comfort , space...
EPB should turn on automatically when shift is in P. I assume it doesn't? No harm if EPB is ON when in P.
What would be interesting is if people prefer Electric Parking Brake or Manual Parking Brake?
Though I have not tried an EPB, I like a good 'ol leather wrapped parking brake lever. You...
His social media feed does show photos of his new gen and old gen CX-5 lowered, so it looks to be genuine. Just haven't gotten an answer out of him yet. Perhaps use google translate so you can type a question to him in japanese characters or give him some time.
The curves in the spokes of the canadian oem wheel gives off a different shade of grey to give that same machined color contrast look as the previous gen GT rim in a more subtle and elegant way as can be seen in the picture. Clever design. You can tell I'm quite enamored by them :)
Yes I've seen these. Most likely a Mazda Oz dealer-sourced aftermarket wheel. Damn expensive. Not bad but the Canadian oem gun-metal wheels are still better though! Alternatively could go the gun-metal Mazda 6 oem 19" wheels.
If this is indeed Mazda OEM wheels perhaps we can request it via the part number but no doubt the cost of it will be through the roof if they have to import it via special order.

Really? I know you'd floor it to 60kph at traffic lights but where are traffic lights where you can floor it to 100kph so everyone can use it as a drag strip to test their ride? I'm keen to know. I'd be very interested! Maybe I live in the wrong neck of the woods.
