I got a vacuum pump and set of gauges from anazon for less than $200. I also bought some of the special sealant and a digital torque wrench and some other necessities. Watch all the youtubes you can, etc., you can learn a lot.
I seem to remember reading people changing the rear diff/transfer case fluids noticed the factory fill was a little bit low so they added back more than they removed. I don't know if that would apply to the 2022 CX-30.
Has the brake fluid been replaced yet?
Often when there are high wind forecasts they are started mid-day. It's possible that some of these vehicles were suddenly enveloped by the dust cloud's forming (around 10am_) and they didn't have time to react.
On the other hand, after the initial collisions, another two dozen cars plowed...
Some freeways have a lower limit of 40mph.
There are signs on some highways like "Do not drive into smoke" .
I think the Colo State patrol's position is to slow down and pull completely off the highway if you aren't able to proceed.
There were extremely high winds (which caused the dust...
Here's a lesson about the importance of defensive driving.
There was a major pileup in southern Colorado Feb 18 which is described in this article:
Five people were killed in the crash on I-25 south of Pueblo on Feb. 17.
PUEBLO, Colo. — A vehicle pulling a trailer that was traveling between...
That is a good question. Maybe the wife has a car and they want to carry furniture on the weekend? Tow a boat on the weekend?
They used to be a bit cheaper than cars, because they were so stripped down, but not these days. Are they any cheaper than a full size body on frame SUV?
I bought a 40"x12" piece of black mesh for about $15... I haven't installed it yet but it seems like it should help protect the radiator.
No grill shutters yet.
The tire shop might have some policy about the age of the tires, so they don't want to service them.
If you have the place, time and energy you could try and remove one to check it, but I don't think I would worry too much about it, although you still might want to rotate the tires. If they...
I think you should hope it's something simple, like a snapped cable. It could be.
I had a clutch cable snap on me once, but the shifter cables haven't failed me. That doesn't mean yours won't.
There was just something on TV with a guy recommending replacing tires after 10-12 years regardless of the mileage. You have 50,000 miles on the car, how many on the tires?
I would guess the environment where the car is stored (since it's not driven very much) could affect cracking, etc. I...
It doesn't look too difficult to replace.
Here is a link to a site where I bought my maplight LEDs for the 2721 types they have:
https://www.superbrightleds.com/led-light-bulbs-universal-finder/miniature-and-subminiature-bulbs?bulbnumber=96307
You might want to find a more local vendor, but...
That is pretty weird.
I bought some batteries, I think they were a 4-pack. The first one(s) were ok, but when I tried to use the remaining batteries several years later they were already low.
Did you buy some fresh ones this time? I had to go out and buy another pack.
They have that grill material on Amazon, various size and gauge of the wire grid. Did you have to remove the front bumper, or any of that stuff?
I saw a tumbleweed down in New Mexico that was about the size of a car. Nobody hit it before it blew off the other side of the highway, on its way to...
