We've had Continental DWs 6 on several different cars- Mostly BMW's. I was very impressed with the ride, handling, noise and wear life on them. I would even consider them for our 2023 CX-5 when the oem tires are shot.
I bought a SD card for our 2023 CX5 Turbo off of Ebay a few weeks ago. For $50 it is working great. Mazda's $500 price tag for navigation is ridiculous.
KYB. I just checked them and they seem OK. I'll wait another 10K miles or so and see how they are then. I am going to do the brakes though. I think I have Powerstop on there now. It's been a little over 60K miles and they are getting down.
I have a 2016 CX5 GT. It just turned over 130K miles. To date the only real issue was the belt tensioner which went out at about 122K. After inspection this weekend I'm planning on doing a suspension rebuild. Right now, I'm planning on replacing- if needed the struts, strut bearings, rear...
I took the car into the dealer after the triangle came on again. The dealer couldn't find anything even after checking for codes. They told me the sensor may have been obstructed either from dirt or a bug splatter.
At least now there is a paper trail if it happens again.
My son just came home from school and when he went to leave the master warning light triangle with the exclamation point came on the dash. He said the car ran rough and would not go over 65 mph. It's a 2019 Mazda 3 with only 5600 miles.
I started the car and drove it when he got home. Of course...
Usually, if a CV joint is bad -depending on the side you will get the noise when you turn one direction and not the other. I've replaced a couple of them on my son's Nissan Altima (one at 150K and the other side at 180K miles) and they weren't that hard to do. Plus they weren't very expensive...
Reaching for straws here but if you've replaced the wheel bearing how about the CV joint axle? You mentioned when you turned left it gets worse. A lot of times that can be traced back to the CV joint. First thing I would do is inspect the CV joint boots for cracks or leaking grease. If it turns...
A few years back when we had our 2014 CX5 a girl made a left turn in front of us while we were doing 45 mph. The engine was pushed into the firewall and the "frame" was bent. However, I walked away with only a cut on my arm from the air bag and my wife had a hernia from the seatbelt. Other than...
122K miles on our 2016 GT. To date other than maintenance items we haven't had to put a dime into it. Still runs and drives like new. Very impressed with Mazda.
As others have said highway miles are much easier on the car and oil than stop and go city miles. I've heard it may be a 3:1 ratio. With that said I will still adhere to Mazda's oil change recommendations.
I change the oil and filter in our car every 5K miles. With 122K miles on the odometer...
IF the battery was completely dead it may run rough for a while until it charges up. The car is relying 100% on the alternator. I would first charge the battery up completely - assuming it will take a charge and then if it's the culprit get it replaced right away.
If you take it to Autozone...
