Nice to see there is still some activity on this thread. My ~150whp protege is still running well. Never did get around to really trying to optimize what I have. I keep thanking the man upstairs that the car still runs after everything I did to it in college...
I bought this a couple years ago off of the forum and never got around to installing them. My loss, your gain. Includes alternator, power steering, and water pump pulley.

I sent in cam gears form an extra FSDE I had to another member on the forum who was making these for a group of us a couple of years ago. I was planning on using them with my twiggy cams but never got around to it.

I was launching at 3500 to 4000rpm but I probably dont have the timing right with the clutch and gas. Every run was a quick dump of the clutch and probably too hard too soon on the gas. When launching are you finnessing the clutch at all to keep rpms at 4k? I think next time I might try loading...
First time at the drag strip was pretty sweet. Ran four times and got a little better each time.

the j&s i bought doesnt have a vacuum port and only has a one wire knock sensor. only 'extra' hookup available is the TPS wire, also only 4 pin dip switch.
I have a remote filter kit (pics here), could probably add one of those cool collars for even more cooling.

with AWR oil pan, (7.25 quarts oil capacity) aftermarket oil pressure sensor in stock location and oil temp in sandwich plate...
