You would be absolutely fine running a 255/60/18 winter tire but you would need a different set of wheels, as the 18” tire would of course not fit on a 20” wheel.

GT and higher models come with 20" wheels. GS and GS-L come with 18" wheels. Thats why they list 255/50/20 tire as that is what will fit on the stock wheel on the GT.

Did the 5mm spacer work ok with the stock wheel studs? Still lots of thread left for the lug nuts?

What do you think about a 22x10.5 +25? One of the wheel options I like only comes in +45 (would sit too close to the shock) or +25. Worried that the +25 might stick out too far and potentially cause issues. Do you think it would work based on what you’ve seen with your +30 setup??

@2017CX9 What offset did you go with? Have you been happy with these so far? Considering them in gloss black for myself...

I’ve seen CX-9’s without the trim and it doesn’t look as good. That’s the beauty of the Hyperdip, just generally mask the area and the excess peels off neatly right to the edge of the trim.

Another update...got most of the front grille wrapped. The U part was an absolute PITA. Tried several attempts to wrap it with one large piece and was unsuccessful. Had to resort to doing it piecemeal. Up close you can see the seams, but from a step back it looks pretty good. Goes along with the...
