Once again, for anyone who missed it... this topic has to deal with Discreet's wins from roll-on races. :) No one said he beat any cars at the drag strip.
It's getting very frustrating talking to you. :) Before you asked me "who is faster?", now it's "who wins?" Heh. What conversation are you in? :) Because you've totally missed the point of this one. Please read my original post again.
Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. You do know the difference between FAST and QUICK right? The guy who runs 13s is much QUICKER than the guy who runs 14s, but in the end, the guy running 14s is obviously FASTER. Unless you think 100mph is faster than 104mph...? (scratch)
You don't make much sense in that post, but I just want to say, just because you regard 1/4 mile drag racing as the ultimate performance benchmark, doesn't mean everyone else does. I know many people who go to the track and roll off the line just to see their trap speed. Why prove to someone how...
This post is not ment as a flame, nor should it be turned into one. I'm mainly posting this as a little lesson of the day, after reading the recent arguments on the forum regarding DiscreetSpeed and his claims. Maybe this will shed some light on the subject and even clear up any disbelief people...
When I had my 3" exhaust on the MSP I shot flames often... not as crazy as the STI, but I had some 2 foot flames on several occasions according to friends.
My buddy got an STI last week, and just the other day had the wastegate ported to accomodate a 3.5" turbo-back exhaust. :) Only other mod is HKS SSQ BOV. Enjoy... sorry for the large file size...

Short-ram intake, full downpipe/exhaust, FCD, boost controller (~13psi), 100+ octane... and one of the most important things to lower your ET in this car: AWR motor mounts. Any tires better than stock would be nice as well, but the motor mounts are more important IMO. 13s is very possible...
MoJoeTCM, that's pretty much what I'm doing when I sell my MSP. However, it won't be the j-spec 1jz motor. It'll be a usdm 2jzgte w/ 6spd. You can accomplish that swap for under $10k, and with basic mods, put down 400rwhp.
