Considering this the first time I have seen such a post on this forum or mazdaforum it can't be very common. He said I should look on more forums? Where? These are the most heavily trafficked Mazda forums. If it was going to show up, it would be on these forums. I hope he continues to...
Shocker that the OP hasn't come back. LOL. He thinks there are many others with this issue? His post about it is the first I have seen on any Mazda forums.
I would personally do fluids- brake fluid, transmission fluid, differential/transfer (if AWD) and likely spark plugs as they are pretty old at this point. Make sure the battery is less than 3 yrs old as well.
That is silly it would only show CP and not AA. Why even bother if it doesn't work for both types of phones. I don't get automakers not including both AA and CP on any infotainment done today. Neither one is going anywhere soon.
Where did you read this? That sounds like the Toyota hybrid used in the CX-50. I heard the system for the CX-5 will be a Mazda design. Mazda also said the hybrid will rival the performance of the current 2.5T motor. If we are talking about a bigger/heavier car it will certainly need more...
This is a big issue with wireless charging in general from my experience. I don't have a wireless pad in mine but when I have used them in hotels which have them in the room, the phone does heat up. Considering the phone gets hot when using wireless AA anyway, this makes things worse. It...
Agree on most points here. I think Mazda really muffed this one up. They have a great engine in the 2.5T and still offer it in other models so why not at least keep it for the 26 model year then switch to a hybrid if it makes sense? I can't think of a reason I would switch from my 21 turbo to...
Make sure you get the LED version. They make a more basic version without the LED running lights and brake lights. But yes, aftermarket LED taillights are available for much less than the OEM version. You could also look for a used OEM light from a breaker.
We can hope. From what I am reading about the CX-90 PHEV, things are not great. Mazda obviously should have waited to release it (which may be why the 26 CX-5 isn't getting the hybrid right away).
Not sure what you mean. More power = better 0-60 times. Of course, "performance" is in some ways subjective, as a hybrid model will be heavier than the current 2.5T model due to the increased size of the car and the weight of the battery. Many like a lighter car (not that the 21 GTR that you...
It's a 2.5L inline 4 just like the one in the CX-5 (all current 4's are inline except the Subaru and Porsche boxer motors). They don't use the I-6 in the PHEV. It seems ridiculous for Mazda not to have designed the new 8-sp to work with both FWD and RWD as they aren't going to stop production...
I don't think there will be any difference for US models (other than a decrease due to the extra weight of the larger body). They will be using the same engine they have in the 25 non turbo CX-5 and the same transmission (I am sure they will say it has been "revised"), but everything I have...
