WOW! I don't think I would have used nail polish remover because that very well may have thined out your clear coat as well. Regardless what is done is done and I would definitely follow it with a wax/paint cleaner then put a nice coat of wax on it. In the future, my recommendation is to stop...
Nice! Out of curiosity why didn’t you go with the GT 3071? Both kits are nice and ATP products are top quality etc. but just curious. I know the 3071 spools up faster but the 3076 can put down larger numbers IF you looking to go over 450HP. Regardless, I knew it wouldn’t be long before...
Is there end product actually steel piping or is it just there test piping? If there end product is going to be steel, YUKE! If they are using it strickly for fitment testing reasons, sure I can see that, but in order to have an acurate dyno run etc. steel is far from what should be used. As a...
Sounds Great! If you didn't know any better, one could mistake it's sound for a Subaru. Also was that your car used on the dyno run? If so what where the numbers with the exhaust and downpipe? Corksport only lists the gains from the cat-back exhaust and the dyno run is just that, showing the...
A Lojack can be installed anytime and on many different products, Cars, Motorcycles, Watercraft etc. they even have lojack for laptop computers. I have it on all of my cars and it's well worth it. If you want to have it installed on a vehicle they will come to your house to install it. Don't...
I thought it was on there forum. Also I know they emailed me the photos from GT Live and of course I think I deleted the email. Let me dig around. It's a Black MS3 with gold wheels (I believe Advan) FMIC, CAI (short ram), coilovers, intitial AccessPort tests and other performance goodies...
As of yesterday Trey had no updates posted. They just returned from GT Live a few weeks back with there MS3 and from what I understand all went well with the mods tested etc. Did or have you seen there MS3? It's awesome!
Someone on the forums stated they were going to try the foulers but I haven't heard anything as of yet. The PCM on our car seems to be the obstacle to get over, it's very touchy and I think once that thing is figured out by the "TOP" companies, we'll be able to start making larger mods.
As j'sspeed3 said, yes your PCM relearns however, I'm still not sold on the test pipe. Turbo XS dyno'd it at 22HP and 30ft/lbs of torque with an CAI and Bypass valve. You can obtain that with just a CAI. Just my .02 cents
Also you need definitely change your shift point. The throttle plate...
Micah, your exactly right but here's the problem, we don't have the AccessPort available to us just yet. COBB is still working on it and we don't have a release date. So sure if we had that available to us, absolutely.
Now, he mentioned he doesn't have the money for an exhaust and from what...
I'm a full supporter of this car but as I agreed earlier that the platform is perfect for a 300HP road course racer, if you intend to push the car to a 400HP street hunter, yes it's possible but you will need to do more than weld the lsd. At 400HP your tranny internals will need attention not to...
If you remove the first cat, you will through a CEL. You can get away with removing the second cat, but I would not recommend it. So far by just installing the "race pipe" CAI and Bypass valve the gain is no higher than what you gain with just the CAI. Lastly there are many high flow cats out...
