I purchased a rear bumper protector for my 2017 that was advertised for both gen1 and 2. It did not fit. The bumpers curve differently (different radiuses). I had to order one specifically for 2017-2020.

Sounds like your battery is bad. Can you test it or get it tested?

Dealer should check the battery first. Does your CX-5 have the power liftgate? If so, you could have the defect where the liftgate drains the battery. Low battery voltage can cause wonky errors and idiot lights to come on.

Your 205/50 17 has a 25" diameter which is 1.3" smaller than the donut! Also, the 205mm width may make it hard to close the cover with wheel in the spare tire well. IMO, you're better off with the donut.

Actually, 155/90D17 outside diameter is 27.98" which is 0.7" smaller than your regular tire.
