Yeah, since I, myself, have a free 6-month access to SIRIUS... I have become somewhat addicted. I will prob enroll and just accept the AUX input loss. Now, ..... If I only had a one (1) disc CD player, then I would definitley have no choice but to pry open the front dash and swap connections.
Ohhhhh Cool. R you doing a FULL remod? The carpet stuff is easy, but it is pain-taking to rip up yur own car, and a headache (sometimes) to go through the motions. When you start....since you are in P-Town?.... I could stop by for a few to help with pointing out some stuff to make things go...

Ahhhh.. LukeP? I guess you did not install yet. If you would have read a couple of post before yours, you would have seen my pictures on how to get pass (remove) the glove box / power install.
My Switch issues
I got all of this information (my 1st post info) shown to me from the Service Desk Manager while I was in the waiting room, and this ordered / Mysterious Switch was being installed onto my MS3! I have the Nav system and the Mazda rep showed me an itemized MS3 config sheet...
Same issues eh? (Laughing) Kewl! Not to bring bad on anyone, BUT...But I would say it is OUR (ones who performed these installations) duty to report these finding/issues to the next MS3 installers....(lost items, braking stuff, routing headaches) CRAP happens :-).
Thanks again for staying...
I started late Friday which was a rainy/dark day. Purchasing a Auto shop $15 high power light GREATLY helped me with the install.
While routing the Aftermarket Turn-on wire, I routed the Amp's remote control wire and mounted left of the Stick Shift..... can you say velcro.
