IMHO the most substantive difference was the Nappa leather seats. (wifey and I both thought they were nicer/more comfortable). The other nice feature is the 360 degree view monitor with front and rear parking sensors. Other then that, it's mostly "fluff" and 'bling bling" like fancier interior...
I've found that the "internet sales dept" is just a gimmick at a lot of dealerships. They're often no different then regular retail sales. (It used to be that there was retail and fleet and fleet would be where you'd go for the best deals.)
I agree. Cast a wide net, be patient, be prepared to...
Thanks! It could be as early as a week if they can divert one already on the ground. Otherwise they'll tag one on the next boat load which might be a couple weeks.
That is the question!!
When it comes to the GT-R and Sig, dealers seem to be sticking very close to MSRP. Some are even adding additional dealer markup B.S. If you do a '19 CX-5 total inventory search on cars.com you find that only about 10% of Mazda's 2019 CX-5 shipments have been the 2.5T...
A CX-4 AWD w/Signature trim and 2.5T would be perfect. That's a beautiful styled car.
I think Mazda should discontinue the fairly unpopular CX-3 and bring us this model.
A couple days ago I said "no" and walked away from a '19 Signature purchase negotiation. Last night the dealer called and made one last chance to sweeten the deal and we agreed. They'll find me my first color choice (Sonic Silver) and make sure the port doesn't add those silly $400 roof rails...
Will '16 OEM Touring rims (17") fit a '19 Signature, Want to re-use my winter tires
I'm trading my 2016 Touring model for a 2019 Signature. I have a set of Nokian R2 SUV winter tires mounted on an extra set of stock rims. (225/65/R17)
1. Will '16 OEM rims fit '17+ later models?
2. The '16's...
You're right. There appear to be some steep discounts on Alfa's. However I've ruled out any brands where there's only one dealer in the entire state. (just like Jaguar).
The '18 Audi Q5's are also discounted pretty heavily right now. The base trim comes close to CX-5 Sig. price territory but...
This morning I test drove a '19 Acura RDX and here are my impressions compared to the CX-5 Signature:
- I could live with the RDX styling but it's a bit cluttered especially with that oddball chrome cladding on the lower door panels.
- I was really underwhelmed with the performance. It seemed...
But I don't run the tank bone dry. I usually fill up when my tank is at 1/8-1/4. At a 12 gallon fill and 20-22 MPG that's only a usable range of about 220-240 miles. I personally think it'll be hard to keep MPG decent in this car because there's so much fun torque at the drivers disposal. By...
I test drove both a GT-R and Signature CX-5 today. My $.02 worth:
+ The 2.5T augments the already fun to drive handling with some real spirited performance. There's plenty of torque available for any driving situation. I believe the real 0-60 numbers will be in the 6's. It was way faster then...
IMHO it's always best to negotiate via email. An email customer is a lot easier to loose, so theoretically the dealers will have to work harder to hook them. If one dealer doesn't get you what you want then try other dealers. (Dealers will try to lure you into the showroom. Don't go there...
Mazda shipments arrive via 4 US ports. (Tacoma, San Diego, Baltimore, Jacksonville).
You can track the departure from the Mazda loading dock in Hiroshima and track the shipments to the US:

It was white pearl.
There was no dealer discount. The incentive comes from Mazda.
I'm getting the feeling there won't be much wiggle room with Signatures.
Here's the first dealer quote I've rec'd on a Signature for a clean cash deal. Unless there's holdback or other manufacturer to dealer incentives then it looks like they may be holding close to MSRP. I might try Costco's service.
Your price on this 2019 CX5 Signature AWD is $37985. Price is...
I have the same basic?'s. Does anyone understand the Mazda numbers?
Guys say shoot for 10% off MSRP. However dealer margin is about 4-5% (MSRP vs. Invoice). Where's this other 5%+ come from? It's either a much higher holdback then 1% or special dealer incentives/volume bonus quotas direct...
