    Why replace the CR2025 with CR2032? After all, the CX5 cost $30,000 plus and the CX2025 are $2.50 each at HD. Just replace them every 12 months for $5.00.

    Towing for newbs: Trailer brakes

    From the 2009 CX 9 manualBeginning 4-14. It appears to be 2,000 lbs which INCLUDES weight of trailer and the weight of passengers and all other items loaded in the CX9. I wonder if passenger includes driver? 1,000 should be safe weight. I am sure others will help.

    Wireless Rear Parking Sensor

    One is wireless and the other you have to run wires. Great if you can install it yourself. Just appears rather involved for the average CX5 owner.

    2021 Mazda CX-5 announcement

    I guess if they included everything on all models there would be no need for all models. Mazda takes a different approach. They have multiple CX5 models with virtually no option upgrades. You basically buy the options you want by the model.

    What is the purpose for the electric folding mirrors? I have truck with manual folding which I only fold if I go through a car wash. My wife's 2019 Mazda folds everytime the door locks and is used by her to verify the doors locked. What is their real purpose?

    To the OP...check for a button to the right of the open button on the hatch. If you hit that button, it will lock the doors.

    I would really like the ability to select the sound. One day a throaty V8, another a high reviving racing 4 cylinder, and then the sound of a Rolls. At a stoplight, you open the window..turn up the volume for the V8 and give it some gas. LOL

    Adjustable liftgate

    There is also a small round button on the right of the open button on the hatch that allows you to lock the vehicle. You can see it if you open the hatch.
