They don't read these forums. Occasionally a company tech jumps on the forum and provides some answers - I think a Mazda tech was on this once... this is a owners and interested buyers forum. CrazyBiker - do you actively read and contribute on the Mazda6 and the Sorrento forums? You don't own a...
MY 2011 GT had about 61K before I changed them. I did it right before the snow season, and they were about 2-3 mm left.. sadly, I wish I didn't spend the $800 to change them, cuz I ended up getting a 2017 3 months later...
I got mine GT for under 38K back in April. If you want to save $, then go with the 2017. The features I would really want from the 2018 are the heated front windshield and the front parking sensors...
Are you saying the Mazda Mobile App got updated? I just checked and it's not :(
I also have the app - my long time sales guy turned finance manager recommended it despite all the things I read about it. He has it on his CX-9. All of the criticisms are correct - but I've used it and it works for...
I'm sure you can list 10 missing items in every SUV Out there... tell me which SUV has every feature you want??
CX-9 definitely isn't perfect. But it works well for me..
My dream vehicle is the F-Pace... but it too has it limitations despite its $10K higher sticker price... you seem to be...
That is impressive to get that MPG on a 300+HP V6.. but comparing a Q7 to a CX9 is comparing Apples to Oranges.. The Q7 starts at 50K base... comp equipped is at least mid 50's or more... the proper comp is Pilot/Highlander/Sorrento/Arcadia...
I will say that my previous Gen CX-9, could get no better than 18-19 mpg on the highway, whether is was 65 or 75.
So on both your CX-9 and Q7 - are you using 93 octane on both as well?
Highway I'll get 22-23 mpg if I avg 75mph. I'll get 24-25 mpg if I average 65mph, but that's a bit slow in the NE area...
City - hard to nail down - there is so much traffic in Boston, it's always stop and go. The past month, I've been getting 15 mpg combined average: 5 days a week, stop and...
That a nice feature to have, but if that's a deal breaker, then plenty of other options out there....
I think every new model has compromises too, doubt this is just a Mazda issue... and every new model always goes UP in price - I can't think of a new model being cheaper...
I had the 1st Gen...
First off, it's a quiet engine until you stomp on it. Mazda did a good job with sound proofing the engine. Around town, there's plenty of power, sometimes more than I need since I do feel torque steer alot. On highway, there is plenty of power for passing and cruising - at times, I don't realize...
Mazda never will be a volume seller, so why would you want them to be like one? They are niche in many ways, kinda like Mitsubishi...
What I find attractive is their unique style and design - and that I don't have something that everyone on the block has....
In terms of features, no car has...
Just space.. roomier interior, but the 2nd Gen is better is every other aspect.
Don't think the 1st gen ever had power folding mirrors, or auto-tilt...
Parked and depressed the Stop button to shut off the car.
Car shut down, but the Nav screen powered right back up as if I hit the Start button. The right Info screen on the dash said Ignition On
Nothing else was powered on - I started and shutdown multiple times, but same thing occurs.
I also...
So I've experienced SCBS 4 times since I got the CX9. I'd say all 4 times, I didn't expect it not I thought it was needed... but when it does engage, do the brake lights also light up?
I would assume since if the car was braking, it would be good that the driver behind me also knew I was braking...
Anyone noticing torque steer when the wheels aren't straight? I get that with 310lb torque, I'd experience it, especially when accelerating through a turn...
