I find I cant open the lift gate with the dash button when sitting in the car with the engine running and transmission in park when doors are closed. If I open the door the button will activate the lift gate. I could swear that in the past I was able to. Whats going on?

Well it's obviously a continuing issue and I can't understand why with one replacement mirror already the issue can't be fixed.

At my 80.000K (50,000m) check at Mazda had to replace leaking valve cover gasket Wonder if this is premature.

I did a search and there are many posts on the issue of mirrors not closing. My Signature is now six years old and I have already replaced the driver side mirror for this reason. However it too now suffers the same problem. I wonder if there has ever been a definitive fix.

On my 2020 Signature I have the fog light switch on the stalk turned on but it appears they only come on when headlights (not daytime driving lights) are on. I have the headlights set to auto. Maybe the fog lights would stay on if I switched the headlights to manual?
