    fog light modification

Does anyone know how to remove the little deflector piece in the fog light housing? I feel like the stock fog lights are next to useless and I believe that if one could remove the deflector, it would increase their usability. Short of baking the housing and taking the screw out of the deflector...

    Upgrading halogen headlights

http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/UltraHIDKit That is the link to the kit I got. I got the Ultra HID kit. H11 bulb. 5500 kelvin (ever so slightly blue) (I can post a pic if you'd like). 55 watt. You do not need any error eliminators, harnesses or any other extras. It is direct plug-and-play...

    Upgrading halogen headlights

I've got a DDM Tuning HID kit for my low beams and couldn't be happier. They're super bright and crisp. Like $70 for them and a lifetime warranty.

Auxbeam F-16 Series LED Headlight Bulbs

Exactly right. That and the LED's I have cause a terrible interference with the radio. I paid $60 for the upgraded DDM kit and they're awesome.

Thanks! It can be put in with the high beam but I just haven't got around to do it yet. I just put a separate switch for the meantime.

    DDM Tuning HID kit

So, I couldn't quite convince myself that the Morimoto kits were worth $150, so I looked for alternatives. I found DDM Tuning kits starting at like $30. I went with an upgraded set of them that cost me a total of $60, on sale with free shipping. They have a lifetime warranty on the upgraded...

Auxbeam F-16 Series LED Headlight Bulbs

I bought VLED's, not the Auxbeam ones, but I was seriously disappointed with them. I ended up just buying some DDM Tuning HID's and love them. Much, much better than the stock halogen or the LED's.

Fitting Spot Lights Below the CX-5 Radiator

I only use my lightbar when there is no oncoming traffic. It has 20 individual LED's. 5 on either side are flood lights and the 10 in the middle are spot light. It's obscenely bright to use in traffic. I also replaced my stock low beams lights, but I didn't have the stock HID's to start with.

Fitting Spot Lights Below the CX-5 Radiator

No, the light bar dissipates it's heat on the back side. The warping was due to Snowmageddeon this past winter. Driving through 2 feet or more of snow and then it getting packed hard and forming ice.

Wife didn't change oil for over 10k...beyond pissed

10k isn't anything unreasonable for synthetic. I use Pennzoil Platinum synthetic and go 9k before oil changes, as per Black Stones suggestion when I sent in my sample after 7500 miles.
