There’s only one pump which runs backwards or should I say, the opposite way for the rear pump. I’ve got PDFs but I can’t get at them until mid October 🙄. I prefer two pump systems myself.
Thanks Mike. I think the GT is your signature so it comes with brown nappa leather ventilated seats and in this new version they are CX30 seats and a body colours trim round the bottom.
I think you’re thinking of it too hard. It isn’t necessarily linked to incline it’s linked to demand. You could cruise up quite a steep incline with it barely engaged on a light throttle. Conversely, if you accelerate down a steepish incline it could be fully engaged. Think of it as being...
I tended to switch the sidelights on which put out the DRL to show the raptor lights as in my avatar <<<<< but put the fog lights on which acted like marker lights. Being led they had that twinkle. Sad but true 🙄
Just seen this and don’t wish to contradict but it probably is normal. It’s a function of the ABS pump to continuously back up pressure if you hold your foot hard on the brake - you can bottom the pedal quite easily, try it. The proper way to check if you have air in a modern ABS system is...
Putting the brake into maintenance mode has a two fold effect. It runs the brake wide open for maintenance as the name suggests and it resets the initial proper running clearance. It can’t back off to accept new discs, it can only adjust forwards (outwards). If you put in new discs and the...
The proper use of fog lights is to either supplement the dipped headlights or in extreme fog, replace them as they are low enough to not glare back at the driver but not many use them that way. I guess removing them pays for one of the other changes. It’s not a change I would have made but...
Akebono are a top notch manufacturer and rarely make things wrong. Keep in mind that if they are tight now, they’ll almost certainly bind with time. Are you sure you’ve got the right parts? They must be fitted with the stainless guides and you’re happy that maintenance mode is engaged. If...
Haha, you’ve not changed in seeing the dark side of things - good to hear from you! So to respond to various comments. I had the a 2019 2.2 diesel which I decided would go because they are steadily being outlawed in Europe and they can be temperamental with warning lights etc. The CX5 won’t...
The NX is very well put together and the quality of materials is exceptional but the seat is way over bolstered to the point that I find it horrendously uncomfortable and how I’ve not wrapped around a tree messing with that track pad is a miracle.
Well I’m coming up for my second year with the Lexus NX and I’ve put a deposit down on a new CX-5 GT. It has CD which I know won’t sit well with some members but there’s no choice. It’s the facelifted model, all white and should be here in the new year.
