Anyone have a set of 4 CX-5 OEM rim takeoffs for sale?
I'm starting a gradual search for a set to use for winter only tires.
Need pickup close to Portland, OR or willingness to ship.
If so, send me a PM.
The problem with the Conti DWS's is that they don't come in 225/65-17. If I have to buy a new set of rims then I'll go dedicated summer and winter.
Just how bad are the stock Geolanders? They look like they'd be terrible in the winter.
Just seeking opinions on 17" all seasons that are designed to perform well in most winter situations.
Yes, I know dedicated winter and summer sets are best but just curious who makes an all season with a focus on winter. (Nokian???)
Mazda's NAV unit is absolutely terrible. It's like 20 year old Rev 1 GPS technology. Garmin is is sooo much better. I wish Garmin would produce an SD card that could convert the Mazda head unit into their GPS.
I love the CX-5 in every other way.
I'm trying to use a Garmin GPS unit but my CX-5 doesn't appear to have a switched 12V outlet.
There's an always on 12V outlet in the rear console but only USB ports in the front.
Am I missing something or is this how it is? Garmin's go into PC mode when plugged into USB ports and I really...
I just picked up my CX-5 yesterday. (exact color and configuration I wanted).
MSRP was $30,100 w/o fees/extras and the dealer did $28,058. Part of the discount was tied to signing up for Mazda financing but it was a "no brainer" even for a cash buyer because there's no prepayment penalty.
^^^Thanks everyone. This is great info. The dealer I'm working with thinks he can swap with another local dealer to get the exact configuration I want. I'll know later today. I guess it's common for dealers to swap among each other in a given metro area.
I wouldn't be concerned. A showroom car probably had less use and may have been better protected from lot dings. I would just inspect is closely but I'd do the same with any new car.
Having a few people sit in it shouldn't have caused any significant interior wear. (if so then I'd be suspect...
It's really tough to find the exact color combo, trim and options I want in dealer inventory. I really don't want to make too many compromises.
Are CX-5's built in Japan?
Do dealers typically take factory orders? Is it just a matter of waiting for the boat to sail? What's your experience...
From what I read it sounds like around $2k under MSRP is generally regarded as a good deal? (w/o financing or a trade)
The first quote I got was around $1750 under. (Touring, Bose and Tech for $29,348) It sound like there's some more room to negotiate?
Anyone know if the $500 additional...
Subaru's are very competent/popular cars around here and I did back to back test drives against the CX-5 and the Subarus just seem "lifeless/boring" to me. The CX-5 was actually "fun". Outback is more like a full size sedan though. I think Crosstrek or Forester are a better comparison to CX-5.
